so, what's your workspace look like? don't bother cleaning anything up - just snap a quick pic and share (i just took quick pics w/ my cell phone and emailed them to myself)!

we all know we have messes and IT IS OK!!!! do you use your laptop on a side table (like me?), do you have a desktop on a computer table or do you use your dining room table? let's see!!!

here's what i've got.... needless to say we have no use for a "formal" living room (i truly miss my basement hole) and i really haven't had much time to get the "real" craft area all that set up since moving, oh, 6mths ago! hehe. wish i had more time to sit at BOTH places to play.... hmph

I am at work right now, so no pictures but I have two spaces. One downstairs for all my traditional supplies, which sadly hasn't been touched in a month. I just can not get motivated to do paper layouts anymore. And the second is like yours, a laptop on a side table in the living room. Unfortunately it is so accessable that I have a hard time getting my butt away from it!
 
AMY! Your paper area is awesome!

I just scrap on the couch with my laptop. If I'm sitting on the floor, I usually have a head resting somewhere on the keyboard! :giggle

I do the same thing with my laptop Amy - end table in living room. It's where I scrap, check emails, do my banking, etc... I do have to have my lap desk thing though which makes me able to have my wacom tablet and computer on my lap without my lap getting warm. Blurry pic from my phone.
 
My workspace is usually me lounging on one of our couches with the laptop on my lap! Sometimes it's at the kitchen table. I'm usually scrapping where the kids are.

The lego magazine is courtesy of my son but I have no excuse for the rest of it. And, um, this is the tidy version. :blush

Amy, I am so envious of your paper scrap zone!
 
I see some Kate Hadfield drawings in their original form. Love the dual monitors, Kate. I hook my laptop up to a second monitor sometimes when I'm working with a lot of graphics and it makes me feel like I'm at mission control. Haha.

My workspace is on my couch with my laptop, too, or at my desk here at work. So since I'm at the office, that's the photo you get. My desk actually isn't even all that messy today (although it wraps all the way around me, and the part off to my right is stacked with papers). But there's no blueprints on my desk, today, so that alone makes my desk look halfway decent.My lackluster Blackberry photo:

ETA: In the background there's a thermometer (which is for a sales goal, and it's neither here nor there) but there's also a sign stuck to it that says "Automatic Filing" because our receptionist one time 'accused' me of thinking that if I put things in the filing bin some magical creature just came through and filed it. So we renamed it the "Automatic Filing System" and labeled it as such, so she could just shut the hell up about it. LOL

ok fine...can't believe I'm showing my mess too....yikes! My space is in our unfinished but well used basement. It's also where most of my DD's toys are. I love that she can play and make her mess right along side me.....

I'd show you mine but it's missing the laptop :( I had to drop it off at *the doctor* Hoping he can figure out what's wrong with her and get her home soon :(

I have a room upstairs that's part scrap room, part music room (my hubby's learning to play guitar) and the rest of course is where the boys park their toys....oh wait, that's every room! :)
 
I'm ashamed to say that's not all of my felt. There's more stashed in a box :blush
