(Conversation with my 8 year old)
Julia: Mom, you know that thing scientists can do to animals where they copy them?
Me: (slightly puzzled) You mean cloning?
Julia: Yes! I think you should get in line for that.

ACK. It's time for our elementary school carnival and I'm the chairperson again this year. Of course, I hadn't planned to be down for surgery most of the month before carnival, so it's made the last bit of prep exceptionally crazy. Combine that with a busy week here at the Pad and all the usual family/home stuff... well, maybe I *should* get in line for that clone!

How much could you get done with an extra copy running around? Just think, one of you could scrap all the time! :giggle

Ha! Your child is brilliant :)

My clone would work all day, so I could play :)

I agree with Julie! All of it. lol! :)

I'm getting in line too! There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to everything that needs to be done and also have time to play. :circles

Oh my! Ha ha! That is too funny! That better be on it's own card in your PL! :giggle

Gosh... if I cloned myself, that one would definitely make all meals and do all cleaning! That alone would free up SO much time!

I am so with you Karen - a clone for housework would be great. And she could watch the kids so I could run out to do something... or just when I'm tired or sick or want to scrap or read a book... Yeah, this sounds great. Too bad I'd have to wait about 20 years for her to grow up. :waiting

Too cute!

I could use a clone for housework and making meals. That would free up so much time (plus my house would look presentable). If only...

I don't know if I would want to deal with another me and I know my son sure wouldn't :giggle

However, if she would cook, clean and work on days I didn't feel like going in it would be worth it.

I'd totally make my clone do all the work while I had all the fun. I think that's more like a servant than a clone. :giggle

I have a feeling my hubby may have issue with a clone of me. I'm all he can deal with at the moment. LOL

That is too cute - pretty clever she is thinking of the cloning! I would be afraid of 2 me's, but I would LOVE having the extra hands!!!

LOL she is soooo cute an amazingly clever!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say: a clone of you? yes- 100% for it.

But after having watched some Brazilian soap opera and a couple of films involving clones.....not sure I'm much up for the results.....:giggle

yes cloning would totally help ur situation...i don't think they've gone much past sheep yet though so maybe u'll need a helper on next years carnival, just in case?!?

My clone would definitely be on third shift baby-feeding and elderly-dog-letting-out. ALL THE SLEEP I WOULD GET!

I'd totally make my clone do all the work while I had all the fun. I think that's more like a servant than a clone. :giggle

Sounds a bit more like slavery from what I'm seeing everyone wish on their poor clones... Just remember your clone is just like you, assuming it turns out well... And would have feelings too. Might get confusing actually...
