Finish the sentence with me (and feel free to vent, like me):
You know you're old when....

So it's winter here and that means jeans most day for me and so for me this week:
You know you're old when - you don't 'do' or understand fashion trends anymore.

I feel like saying to half the people I see at the moment that it's winter, you're in jeans, so why is 95% of the front of them missing? If wearing trendy jeans now means that except for a strong denim thread or 2 across the knee, you might as well have shorts on, then i'll stick to 'old-fashioned' jeans that aren't ripped beyond the point of being rags

You know when you're old...

...when your favourite songs from your favourite bands are only recognized by your younger co-workers because they know some stupid cover version of some stupid band the name of which everybody will have forgotten next month. And when they believe that that stupid cover version is the original.

I could go on and on, :-)

You know you're old(ish) when you tell the kids to turn down their music! Can't keep up with all the slang. When you fall asleep in the chair and wake up feeling like you have torticollar!

You know you are old when...........
you see a police officer and do a double take, because you used to change their diapers!

you take off your glasses so you can't see the wrinkles on your hands! bhahhah

you can finally afford that sports car!

you know the words to the musack playing in the stores.

DITTO!

You know you're old when you walk into an antique store and most of the "antiques" are things your kids owned. (They weren't too happy to see that either!)
Oh!! That's funny!!!

And we were listening to a song the other day with our daughter....a remake of one we knew when my Honey and I were teens....and we said....yeah, that one was popular when we were growing up. And daughter says...."REALLY?" LOL

you know you are old when you have to explain to a teen, that not only were you not allowed to use calculators at school, but there were no computers...as in they had barely been invented.

When you think you are just hanging out with another mom - and then you realize you are old enough to be their mom and the kid could be your grandkid.

p.s. Happens a lot when you are an old mom to young ones (age 41 when dd was born).

You know you're old when...
The girl who was your train bearer is getting married. (Worse, your own DD is older than she was when she was in your wedding).

Or, you know you're old when now you're the old geezer who needs help with new tech, instead of being the person others come to with their tech questions. I'm kind of in limbo on this: I still "get" a lot of technology but I also don't understand the appeal of some apps, like Snapchat.

When high school was more than half your life ago.

The first time your own child asks "what are you wearing?!" in horror.
