Yep, I saw it with my own little eyes, that was about the time I saw my lamp turn off... Yep, we lost power for like 2+ hrs and let's just say that the house still hasn't recoup from that.

So how is the heck' of your woods!?

We had -38 with -48 windchill (Celcius) yesterday but thankfully the power didn't go out!

According to my phone, it's 25 degrees out there but feels like 10! Supposed to be chillier tomorrow. I was home sick today so I'm glad I didn't go out there, but I'm not looking forward to heading out to work tomorrow.

Stay warm my friends!!!!!!!!

Me too... Specially at night. I am off to sleep!

High of 12F here. Wind chill of -15F. The wind is crazy.

So much for going out. I'm staying in my house. XD

This is us too Anne! Although it's a little warmer today! Thank goodness! Only about -20C (-30 windchill). I can't wait to get to Cuba! lol!

I'm so glad I bought some new leggins this weekend! I am layered up!

My office is always freezing - seems like the air conditioning is always blasting - and today is no exception. We all look like eskimos here.

Lucky you! I'd love to be heading somewhere warm. And isn't is kind of sad when we think -20 is warm ;)

Ladies, keep warm today's high is -4F (without the windchill factored in), so "warmer" than yesterday.

This is not even funny. Look my job has in the lunchroom!

Woke up with 34 degrees, it's now 46 degrees but Friday it's supposed to be 81. So much for winter...

according to the thermostat outside hubby's work, we hit -20 without wind chill. that's ridiculous! with wind chill it is feeling like -45F. NOT COOL. school has been closed all week so far, and will be closed again tomorrow. i went out today to get gas and a few groceries, and the roads are seriously just a solid sheet of compacted ice/snow. and it's too cold to put salt down, so we just have to wait for the temps to rise. i do think we're supposed to get up in the 10's or POSSIBLY even 20's tomorrow, so perhaps they can salt the roads and start making some progress!

kids are back to school tomorrow... the temp for bus stop is -2F.

cold here too. -16C but feels like -27C with the windchill. that's right now... it was much colder today :(

We are in the teens here - but I feel grateful that I haven't lost power or anything.. That's when it gets scary. Stay safe and warm everyone!
