Who else went to The Deathly Hallows Part 2 movie this weekend? We just got back...LOVED it. Perfect take on the book, great ending to the saga!! :heartslub
 
Oh yes, we went yesterday morning. It was amazing. Captured the spirit of the book perfectly. Love love love.
 
Took JT to his first midnight showing. We had a blast! Loved the movie. When the first movie came out he wasn't even born yet. I'm a bit sad it's over though.
 
I took my youngest yesterday morning and we both LOVED it. I cried. I talked to my oldest today and he saw it, loved it and cried a bit too!

I totally agree...best movie ever, and I'll be going again soon!
 
I kinda don't want to go because then it will be OVER!! So sad! I know I'll cry, too...my nieces are here visiting (13 and 17) and they saw it and LOVED it - they want to go again while they're here. Right now I'm loving the anticipation though! Maybe we'll have to watch a movie each night at home and lead up to the Grand Finale :)
 
we went yesterday and watched it. it was great! i thought there were a few deviations from the book that weakened the story a bit, but all in all i thought they did a great job, and i'm looking forward to seeing it again!!
 
We saw it at midnight at the theatre at Universal Studios. Before the movie actually started, two employees told us to remain in our seats until after the credits for a surprise. The movie was AWESOME, definitely kleenex moments and some when the entire theatre erupted with applause. The surprise turned out to be them escorting us right out of the theatre to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! So at 3:00 in the morning, I'm walking around Hogsmeade, walking through Hogwart's Castle looking at Dumbledore's office, walking through Honeydukes and drinking frozen butterbeer! I had to get up and go to work but it was all worth it!

I made one layout about it already and want to do at least one more. The Platform 9 3/4 kit is just perfect.
 
I am just dying to see it again..it was amazing...every minute of it. I still can't believe it's over.
 
We saw it yesterday and really loved it. I agree with Rebecca, there were (of course) some deviations that did weaken the story, but I did like how they overcame some of the obstacles they created by leaving out certain parts of other books. How's that for saying a lot, but not giving anything away? ;) I can't wait to see it again!
 
I'm going with my HP bff of Friday, we had to wait since July 15 was my littlest one's b-day :) I can't wait to see it!!
 
We saw it yesterday! I really enjoyed it even though they changed some major bits towards the end that had they stuck to the original would have made it even better, imo.

It must have been good though because DH sat through it all and only looked at his watch once, ha ha! (He's not the world's biggest HP fan....)
