Congratulations! I grew up on the east coast, and though I wouldn't move out of Texas now for anything, it's this time of year I miss the most - those beautiful leaves turning colors, picking apples, wearing sweaters and hearing that "crunch-crunch" of dead leaves under foot. Sigh. Enjoy every moment!
Hope you find the perfect place for you!! So happy you'll be closer to family. My only advice would be to imagine whatever place you choose in the snow lol I bought a house in the spring at the bottom of a hill, with several other hills leading to it, and didn't really think about what it was going to be like getting out in the winter. It's been tricky many times. State maintained roads stay in good shape, but the back roads can be messy for awhile. Good luck with everything!!
