wow. as a breast cancer survivor and the sister of one battling ovarian cancer, the things he expresses are so true. beautiful and heartbreaking photos. I also had a bit of deja vu, b/c the photo of her hailing a cab in front of the hospital is in front of the hospital where I had my reconstruction done.

ETA: I just clicked into his blog. it looks like she passed away in December. very sad.
