Since today is world beard day, I have to ask - do you prefer a face with or without a beard?

Ha, good question! I am in the middle - I like a good bit of stubble, but only if I don't have to actually *touch* it.

My hubby has a full beard and I really think it suits him so much better than a clean face. I was not so much a fan when he tried to go full duck dynasty and grew his beard out long and scraggly.

My husband had grown out his beard fully just before we met and kept the beard all these years . . . until last January. He shaved it off wanting to look younger. I miss it, but he misses my hair being longer (I cut it short in 2017), so I can't complain. We both have the philosophy of "your body, your choice."

There are some people that I think look better with a bit of stubble or a close shaven beard but I don't want to have to touch the prickliness! Fortunately, hubby both prefers and looks better clean shaven!

It depends, but the beard needs to be neatly trimmed, not long and scraggly. Ick!

I have BIG FEELINGS about beards.

I let my boyfriend know before our first date that while a beard wasn't required, per se, it was also not NOT required. He got the hint and has had one ever since. It is always nicely trimmed (he cuts his hair & beard every week).

He invested in some beard oil/balm to keep away the scritchiness.

My hubby has had a very neat, trimmed beard since he retired. He would not look right w/o one.

I used to think I was anti-beard. But now that DG is retired from active duty and can wear a beard, I've completely changed my mind. He rocks the beard. And I like most beards.

Since my hubby can't grow a beard I supposed I need to go with beardless. LOL. I actually don't know if I would like the scratchiness of a beard.

It depends on the person. Hubby has. Goatee that he hates but I think he looks good with it so he keeps it for me.
