Today, my co-worker is testing my patience, BUT it's mostly me... I think I'm being too hard, and need to lighten up, lol! :tantrum

I have a co-worker that is driving me bonkers... between her humming, constantly getting up and moving around, giggling/whispering on the phone, or not actually doing any work... I'm a bit annoyed. It's just one of those days. I know I'm being hard, cause usually just the humming drives me nuts. :groan :giggle

Any work annoyances for you all? What will drive you batty? :dizzy

I'm not the only one that likes some quiet and to actually get work done, right?! This isn't the best working relationship, so I opt to usually just keep quiet and get my work done, rather than open my mouth and wreak havoc. Kwim?

Sorry to hear about that Jenn. It would drive me crazy as well. I hope you can tune her out. It's hard and if you are even slightly on edge for any other reason then it's so hard. I'll pray and am sending good thoughts.

Well, I am a teacher and this time of the year is pretty crazy between the kids who are already checked out for summer, the extra push from me to get that final chapter in, and the end of school year activities....it all adds up to a wee bit of frustrations. :) But, at least I have summer to look forward to, right?

The end of the school year is always nice, but it also makes me a bit sad since my students will be moving on and I don't always get to have them again.

Good luck with your co-worker--only a few more hours, right?

Not yet, this week. I have to say, working from my home office has it's benefits. I recall years ago the noises would drive me bonkers
!

Everything is annoying me at work today - everything and everyONE. That's not a good situation since I'm a supervisor. But - I've just had it up to my eyeballs ... tomorrow will be better ... I hope ... I hope ... I hope!!!

Well, I have a corner office in my department and nobody on one side and on the other... my husband. So my annoyances are rare to non-existent. My hubby coming in and stealing my hidden chocolates is about as bad as it gets. Sorry. :( I hope that tomorrow is a better day for all of you!

Thanks everyone! I got through the day... and there was a rainbow at the end of it!

I forgot that I took tomorrow as a vacation day! I have a Dr's appointment, and I get to see my son in the 1st grade show at his school... YAY! A day off is the medicine! I might catch up on a TV show, and scrap a page too! I'm excited!

Becky... I give you props... I don't think I could handle kids and keep my sanity! Teachers are amazing.

All you ladies that work at home... that would be a dream for me! I need a virtual Executive Assistant/Accounting - Jenn of all Trades job for that! LOL!

enjoy your day off Jenn & your son's 1st grade show!!! :) my aunt always has stories of her co-workers driving her crazy. there's always that ONE!

You make me glad I work in a little office all by myself, on the far side of the building, behind the staff lunch room and the toilets!!

That sounds absolutely lovely!

Ohhhhh JENN! I completely understand! When I need to get some critical work done, I need quiet. Someone doing that near me would send me to the moon (or to a conference room to get my work done!)

I remember having to coach someone in the past regarding her singing habit at her workstation. It was amazing to me that the staffer actually had no idea she was singing. It was such a habit for her that she didn't even realize she did it! Sigh....

Hang in there!

Thanks, Denise! :)

It's nice to know I'm not alone, lol! Somehow that is comforting!

This is very recognizable, I used to have an old collegue who used to smack while he was eating...
And he was eating ALOT!!!!

I tell you, the moment he got something out to eat it up, I left the office!

I don't work now, but I have had my fair share of work annoyances..... I worked for 30 years in the enterteiment business and many other industries too...and I can say is a human race thing....every place has at some point someone who will drive you nuts.... I think my owrse was working in retail, in my late teens I needed some other job to keep being able to be on stage...so I worked in shops that sold clothes and in a general conveninece store...that was the very worse....

I give people props who have to have daily interactions with people... I don't think I could do that - face to face and many times emotions/feelings would make it hard. I'm better in a small office, and most of the people that I deal with are within my computer or on the phone. No way could I work in a restaurant or retail. Nope.
