Wish Granted....what would you wish for?

Lets say a magic fairy godmother appeared and was to grant you one wish, and one alone... what would you wish for? :wooot
 
Oh, most definitely would be wishing this nasty cancer right out of my body. Nothing else comes close.

We have so much going on in our family as of late, including my aunt who was just diagnosed with uterine cancer (2 years after beating breast cancer), so health for all those I love and care about. There's little more important than that.
 
Yes, definitely the end of cancer and the war in the southern Philippines and that everyone would just be nice to one another. And on a personal note, I'd wish for some self discipline. Because while I really WANT to be disciplined, I don't actually HAVE the self discipline to get there.
 
Good health for me and the people I love.

But I would also wish for our dog to be able to grow old with Gurt and me and in the same pace.
A new best friend. (mine left me out in the cold after 15 years of friendship...)

Gosh... You guys are all so deep. I was coming to write that i wanted a swimming pool full of money. :) Can you imagine how much fun it would be to just walk around and give people who needed it money? Take homeless people to dinner just because you can. Oh and of course I wouldn't have to work, so I could do these things all day!

Not to be flippant though... I truly hate cancer and what it does. That would be so awesome to wake up to a cancer free world someday. I really think it's possible too! Keep praying guys! You will have trouble in this world, but take heart I have overcome this world! :)

I would pass my wish on to someone that needs it worse then I.... I have all I could want, good health, good family and friends and a good career. (This thread made me feel grateful for what I have, and ohhhh so lucky...)
 
My selfish wish would be for a baby. I just want to be a mom so badly. Between struggling with infertility and having a miscarriage it would be wonderful to have my wish of just getting pregnant easily and carrying to term. My second wish would be for money to make getting by easier.

On another note of course I wish for world peace and an end to all disease and all those other more altruistic things.
 
For my Dad to still be here with us... I miss him so much. Wish they would find a cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis. My aunt was just diagnosed with the same thing he passed away from. So. NOT. Fair.
 
A liftetime of good health for me and my family/friends


On a lighter note...a permanent Polly spot or even being debt free
 
I feel kind of greedy, but the last few years have been tough on us financially so I'd want some money to help my mom, sister and myself feel more stable.
