Yup, I can't find a workaround for our "folder image" Win11 problem that satisfies the Scrapper (and photo hog lol) in me. I made "contact sheets" for each year's photos (well, I'm working on one for each year--they're not all done yet): I have a large version saved and a Web version, which I name FOLDER so it shows up as the folder preview. So I've lost those helpful images too. (Or rather they're no longer helpful. Grr.)
I would be very surprised if MS doesn't come up with a fix in an update. It better be an easy solution or button to toggle. IDC that lots of preview images take time to load; that's why I have a gaming system for Pete's sake! If anything, they should have the option to turn off images, but the default and only option shouldn't be that you don't have any images at all! Can you imagine if Apple made all app Images disappear? You just had the text to figure out which app you were opening. That's, for some reason, kind of how I feel with this folder image disappearance. Wow I've written a novel. I'm def upset.

ETA but I very much appreciate your trying to help, Karen!
