Why is it that every time I type "journaling", it gets underlined in red like that's misspelled??? How should it be spelled? Or have we invented that word for scrapbooking? These are the deep thoughts I have today. :carryon

it's not actually a word. should be. isn't.

oh the woes of scrapbookers, lol. ;)

Next your going to tell me that Facebook isn't a verb! LOL. You know like... "I will Facebook you".

I have often wondered this very thing myself! That is weird that there is no verb form of it... Well, there is in our world, right gals! :-)

Funny - I've been spelling it with two Ls (journalling) forever. Makes me feel a little better about spelling it wrong - since it isn't a word anyway.

Oh that drives me bonkers. If I am doing a blog post or credits I will sit and stare at it, double and triple checking to make sure that I have it right lol.

I always get the red line so I always think oh maybe its two l's or I have no clue!! Didn't actually know it's not a word!

Haha! I've thought this so many times! And I don't think it's a term exclusive to scrapbookers, so I seems weird it hasn't been made official yet.

The words "scrapbooking" and "digiscrap" used to come up w/ that red line as well, but alas... we fixed Mr. Webster on those counts, LOL.

It's just another one of those words that we had to make for our little community. :)

I was wondering if it bothered anyone else. Every time that little line pops up....I stare at the word and sometimes even try a better way to write my sentence so I don't use the word "journaling." Drives me a little crazy..I'll admit. lol!

I always assumed that the American way of spelling it was different to ours (like colour and color), not that it wasn't a word - huh, you learn something new to ignore everyday...

I actually did look it up on dictionary.com yesterday and there isn't an entry for "journaling" but then it suggested a link to an encyclopedia and that actually did have an entry for it and said exactly what it was. C'mon Webster! Get with it! :)

I am so glad that I'm not the only one who thinks about things like this. :giggle

I take the red underline off all my programs. I hates it. I know how to spell my own darn words, thank you!
