for me to create a signature!? It's crazy how long I've spent playing and making this new siggy! I can scrap a whole double layout faster, I think! :giggle Between picking the font to the shadows, and working in a smaller area really seems to throw me for a loop!

What about you... what do you find super hard to do scrap-wise!?

AND.... I think my tape is floating, so I might have to fix it! Argh and lol at the same time!

Just use a SWL template!
I have... but most of the time it takes me longer, oddly, when using a template for a signature! Plus, I try to keep close heights, so my slicing and linking will work and look ok! I always have to re-learn that, every time!

I do them big and crop down! lol
I have to remember this for next time, Anne! Good point, and duh on my part!

Slicing? Passssss. I just link mine... :giggle

I do want to update mine though. And a Facebook cover. It's been the same for ages.... I've also meant to make some wall papers for my desktop and my phone and tablet.

Making a siggy is fun but tough. I have issues with siggies, too. I had a summer one but I deleted it just this week cuz now it's fall. Anyway, I have a tough time working big and then re-sizing. IDK why but it just doesn't look right after I size it down so I try to work close to the finished size. Good luck with yours... and then when you're finished will you help me with mine??? :)

lol! It might end up being a replica of mine... with your name! :giggle I did save it!

I pretty much loathe making siggies too. The only reason I ever changed mine was that Scrap Orchard used to have a siggie challenge most months.

Just pretend it's a paper strip instead. It looks awesome.

Same here! My shadow styles get all jacked up on the small canvas. It needs to stay full size, for me and then I can crop after everything has been flattened/saved.

I do this...not TOO big, but bigger than it will be.... and it works... I like making them, but it takes me ages because I obsess about what to use LOL

love the siggy Jenn, and, like Kim said: take it like a piece pf paper..... I have to say is not actually floating...is a weird kind of shadow like if there was something underneath..... but not floating... - gorgeous siggy!!!!
and now I really need to sleep LOL

Ditto on the siggie...Except: Try having twice as many letters!! This font/alpha looks too big, this one makes half my name fall off; this one makes my name too small to read. Sigh. In the end, I still feel like my name in my siggie is in bold, and everyone else's is in normal font.

Lol, Courtney... I would have that issue if I used Jennifer... ugh! Plus... I always actually use lowercase letters when making my siggy (ok, 9 times out of 10, lol) @bestcee

It sure is a weird shadow... but the more I stare at it, the more it looks funny! :giggle I might just have to fix it... and then I can list my teams on there... I've gotten out of that habit of listing teams, but I might give it another try.. way less than they used to be, and all here at TLP. :) Oh... and shadows on such a small canvas are super hard... it's like what I use for stitching and smaller on a regular 12x12! @MrsPeel @enjoyyourpix

Thank you, Lindzee! :love @Lindzee

@NSmil3Anna Welcome to TLP! If you make one up, share! :)

LOL! Nakes Siggy's...:giggle You must give yourself new fall outfit... (though mine is fall colored, it will last through winter until next spring, when I can revert to my favorite brighter colors!)

Funny you would mention siggies. My Megan (10) was telling me yesterday that I need a new one, but I can't make it without her. She wants to help me pick out a kit and learn how to make one. lol I might just have a little scrapper at my house.

I love your siggy Jenn. It's sweet and has longevity. I like doing ones that will last awhile, but I'm guessing Megan will want me to do a Halloween one and then a Thanksgiving and Christmas one too. hehe

I usually start my siggies big and resize down. For shadows I usually do smaller than for a usual layout since I know it'll be really small later. Oh, and one thing that helps, is to make sure scale styles is checked in the image resize, so your shadows will be scaled down along with your image. I use PSE 14, so I'm not sure if scaling styles is the same in PS CC, but surely it has that option somewhere similar.
