Why I haven't been around much...

oh Jan, again, I am so very sorry for your loss. What a beautiful beautiful presentation! I can see just how close of a family you all were/are. You Mom was a beautiful lady and what a beautiful job you have done. Everyone at her memorial will love it, and it is a beautiful keepsake too. (My husband did one for me & my brother on our family to include video and I still cry.) It is precious. Hugs, thoughts and prayers to you.

I'm so sorry for your loss Jan. I'm really glad you were able to see her before she passed, I'm sure that was a comfort to you all. What a beautiful slide show you put together. SO many great photos of your Mom and I really loved the two songs you used too. :) Hugs to you and prayers for comfort as you grieve.

Jan this is beautiful! I love your slideshow and I don't even know her. What a beautiful legacy this will be for those who did. I'm struck by how full your mom's life looks, active and involved with family and friends - and what a nice figure she had too! I love the songs you picked... and PS - the photo of her with the fish made me laugh out as did the family group shot being silly. So much love it's palpable.

I'm so sorry for your loss. The time together at the end is such a blessing - I'm glad you had that time together. I hope the slideshow was therapeutic to see her life again. Hugs friend.

[I giggled at the fish photo too Krista!]

So sorry for your loss. The slide show was a wonderful tribute to your mother, a labor of love.

No matter how old they (or we get), it's always hard to lose a parent. Our sympathy to you. So glad you were and are able to enjoy those special moments and memories as captured in the photographs.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I just returned from California and her service was wonderful. It was good to see family and friends, some who traveled many miles to be there. I just wish these reunions could take place other than at memorial services.

So sorry for your loss. Your slideshow is such a wonderful tribute to her and your family. I smiled when I saw the haircuts with the short bangs (that was me back then too LOL).
Oh, that's too funny. Those were Dad haircuts, and they were always crooked! He finally let me grow my hair when I reached 4th grade. Yay!

Isn't that a great one? It got a burst of laughter at her service. I just love her smug look, too. My guess is that she probably caught one and Dad didn't.

So sorry for your loss. Your slide show is a fitting tribute to a life well spent.

What a beautiful lady :beat My heart goes out to you and your family.
