I like the dough better than the cookies, too. As a matter of fact I severely undercook my cookies just so they retain the dough flavor. LOL I like my cookies medium rare.

That's exactly what I do!!! Except for the batch that got burned because a two year old in my house decided to have a temper tantrum when I would't let him eat the cookies that just came out of the oven...
