to give GREAT customer service?!?

LME~
I purchased a game for my son's birthday and paid additional shipping to insure that it would arrive in time for his birthday. Guess what? On the day the package should have arrived, I checked my debit account and the purchased was still "pending!" I called them. . . it hadn't even been shipped! :hissy I was pretty upset. . . at that point I should have received overnight air shipping for FREE!

Anyway. . . we won't be purchasing from Boardgame Revolution again~ (and the crazy thing is they are a Utah based company and I'm in Utah! how hard can it be to fill your orders?)

So, my question to all of you is. . . what companies always give exceptional Customer Service? Let's face it, great Customer Service is what makes a great business!

So sorry you had to deal with that. :(

I don't think there are many out there.

I've always heard that Nordstrom prides itself on exceptional customer service for returns/problems, but I have had bad experiences with clerks in their stores, so I don't shop there.

B&H photo is a great company. I personally haven't had any problems where I'd need to contact customer service, so to me that is a big deal in the first place. I had an excellent experience in their store when I was visiting NY. I always shop with them because I've never actually needed to follow up with customer service. But I've heard that they do really well if there is ever a problem.

I also like that eBay has buyer protection. It is frustrating when you encounter a bad seller (I had two separate sellers take my money and never ship vintage Fisher Price stuff I'd won), especially when you go through the drama of bidding on an auction, but it is nice to know that you can get a full refund if you need it.

wow, that is so frustrating!!

I have heard really great things about Bed Bath and Beyond's customer service and return/replacement policy stuff.

I know that lots of people have issues with AT&T, but I have always had really great customer service from them--we use them for our phones, internet and tv.

Proflowers.com is a great choice for sending flowers. They don't come arranged, but in a big box (with a vase if you order one), but I have always been amazed at the beautiful flowers that last for a LONG time. I have used them to send to friends/family and have received them multiple times myself. Last month, Micah sent me some flowers for our anniversary and I was pretty underwhelmed, several roses were drooping and didn't last even a day or two. We sent them an email and they quickly replied with several options for replacement that more than exceeded my expectations.

I've had good customer service from Amazon. Not necessarily the vendors who operate through them, but the site itself has been impressive. I have a prime account with them and I get free two day shipping on most things and overnight is only $3.99! Not everything applies but I've gotten some very big and heavy things shipped for nothing.

I'm so sorry that you had a bad experience. I'm curious to see what others have to say.

Crate & Barrel!!! I bought some out door lanterns from them... a set of 4... when they came one was broken so I called their customer service center - they said that it wouldn't be a problem and they would replace it... I asked if I needed to send back the broken one, they said no - and with in a few days I had a replacement at my door... another complete set of four!

Also Remmington razor... they replaced an power cord for an electric razor at no charge - even after I told them that our dog had chewed it up! :)

Super lame, Tana. :( I hope you found it somewhere else!

Amazon has been awesome. Love them.
Costco also has amazing customer service. Refund or replace with no questions asked.

Thanks for letting me rant ladies! I would have to agree with you on several of the companies/stores mentioned above. . .Amazon has always been great with customer service and it's good to know that it really "means" something to some of these big companies! Maybe that's why they've been so successful thru the years!

The Leapfrog people. I have had a ton of experience with their customer service and it's always been a great experience.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. It happened to my sister with Pottery Barn this year. The gift she sent me was supposed to arrive Friday before Christmas, and she got an email that day that it was just shipped. Had she known earlier, I'm sure she could've gotten them to rush it to me, but it had already gone out, and it took another week.

Some sites or stores that I love dealing with"

Zappos.com
Amazon (the site...not independent vendors)...especially for problems with the Kindle...they were so wonderful!
Costco
Nordstrom
