I know I'm on goodreads already, but would like to have a list of 'go to' authors in one spot.

Please tell me who your favourite authors are:) Do you visit thier websites for booklists and such?
 
I usually go by book series rather than authors but Cassandra Clare, Charlaine Harris, Richelle Mead, Stephenie Meyer, PC and Kristin Cast, Suzanne Collins, Julie Kagawa, Veronica Roth wrote some of my recent fave series. I follow some of them on facebook and am in a google group for Cassandra Clare(Mortal Instruments series) and check out websites for some of them to see new releases.

I have a lot of series, that I love to read too but these are not my favorite authors (and I have no idea, why LOL). My fave is Stephen King since I´m a teenager and read my first book of him. I think I´m a really loyal person ;) I also love the books from Elisabeth George, Maggie Stiefvater and Gesa Schwartz (an german author), but there are a lot more, that I really like a lot
 
I am reading the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series, it's pretty good.

I was going to read those Kat as I heard they were good but there were so many books in it, I did not get started. lol

I'm another Stephen King fan, but also read a lot of Anita Shreve, Jennifer Weiner, Elizabeth Berg, Kate Atkinson, John Grisham. Sometimes I read the Bones lady... can't think of her name off the top of my head, and sometime Jodi Picoult.
 
Patricia Cornwell, Nicholas Sparks, Stephen King, The Sue Grafton Alphabet Series, John Grisham.. yes I'm all over the map. LOL
