Last night my 7 year old sat down and looked through our 2007 and 2008 albums for about 40 minutes. He's just getting good at reading and carefully read all the journaling on each page. It was so sweet! He was really enjoying reading about and reliving the memories. It was the first time I've felt like my scrapbooking wasn't just for me, that it was really appreciated by someone else. I mean, the kids look through my albums from time to time, but mostly they just look at the pictures for a minute here or there and then move on. Which is okay because the main reason I scrap is for myself. But it made me super happy that he was enjoying it too!
Do your kids or significant other read & look through your albums? Does your family appreciate your scrapbooking?

) My husband loves glancing through my PL album when I finish a week. He always says, "This is so cool!"
DD will often pull out that album and look through it though. I do have my layouts set up to run on my screensaver, and both kids will sit and watch those from time to time. And they both like to offer input and suggestions for layouts. I also get lots of wonderful comments from family about the ones I share online.
