Hi guys!
Hope you are all well, we here are trying to get stuff done earlier than usual, maybe we will be able to... I have found the task of buying the printer almost impossible to decide...so I thought I ask you guys who probably will know better.
We don't need a state of the art one, can;t effort too pay too much, but I am thinking about going hybrid for DYD, in a small format, kinda of like a travel album, and I love the art journal/mixed media feel so I wouldn't be looking into total perfection.....
Any of you have suggestions?
Sarita's friend found me some, I tend to not trust stuff that is to cheap, bt our last printer was under £40 and it was great until it stopped working...
here are the ones she suggested

If you know any of these and can give feedback, or have others , even if more expensive, I can go up to £100 , I would be really grateful!!! these prices wont hold after the weekend...
Thanks in advance!!!

The trick is to look at ink prices. Often the cheaper the printer here, the more expensive the ink refills!

totally what she said ^^^!

the first 2 look the same to me but i've had canon printers for years (maybe forever?! i find them reliable) but dont have this model (mine is about 3 to 4 years old - it's an MG5350) and i just take the empty ink containers to 'cartridge world' here and they refill them for less than half the cost of buying new canon ink and it makes me feel better that it's not just more modern throw-away plastic (they reset the 'chip' that talks to the printer and tells it if the ink is running out etc as well)- not sure if that's an option there but it off-sets the cost of a slightly more expensive printer to me.
I do like 'wireless connectivity' with printers (i dont know if that's just standard with printers now) so i dont have to try and sacrifice a USB port to the printer cable, or make room on my desk for the printer or so that the kids can put their laptops on my desk so they can also use the printer!

Thanks girls!!!! I should have thought about the ink thing.... I know there are cheaper cartridges online that works as good as the own brand, need to find out about re fillable ones!!! We have Costco here but you need to have a card, is like a whole sale store, so unless you have a huge family or small business not sure we can make it, but will try find out (after I had coffee- woke up unfashionably late for me!!!) Thanks so much!!! @bestcee @bellbird

This! I love having a wireless printer.
And I have an HP - I can get the ink refilled at Costco and it works. I don't know if they reset the chip or what, but I think most printers you can find refillable ink for now.
Ditto re HP.. mine is the 3830.. I get my ink cartridges at Walmart. Hopefully @MrsPeel Cynthia you can get exactly what you need!

Yes, the ink... almost cheaper to just buy a new printer every time it runs out since a new printer comes with a complete ink set. I did find out recently that Staples will buy back the empty cartridges at $2 each, limit of 10 per month, and give you a reward gift certificate to spend on anything in the store, like more ink.

Right now we have 2 Canon printers. One is a laser/black only printer that also works as a copier with a document feed and everything. The other is an inkjet color printer.

oh we have Staples in here, I ll look it up see if they have that....
Sarita had promise to give me a Silhouette 2 years ago for Xmas... I didnt want her to spend the money because we wanted to travel see my parents, but with the cost at the moment, I doubt it will happen any time soon, so I will let her buy it for Xmas :) I need good printer first though!!!
thanks so much!!!! I ll keep looking, I think the stores are still on sale tomorrow!!!!
