Where is your phone?

Mine is next to me on my desk at work.
In my car, it's in the charger spot.
When I sleep, it's next to me charging.
At home, it could be anywhere, and I look for it constantly after I put it down and walk away.

Otherwise it's in my back left pocket.

The other day I was looking for my phone, and realized after a minute it was in my right back pocket. I laughed at myself. It got me thinking of where you keep your phone.

Where is yours?

Right now, it's in front of me on my desk. When I'm sleeping, it's charging beside me on the table and when I'm driving, it's next to the shifter charging and playing a podcast. When I'm out, it's usually in my back right pocket if I have one, or in my purse. But around the house, who knows. I always say that the main function of my Apple watch is to find my phone lol.

It’s so funny that you ask this today because yesterday was the first time I forgot my phone at home in a very long time! I was so annoyed!

In my car, it's on the charger that attaches to the vent.
When I sleep, it charges in the bathroom.
The rest of the time it’s in my front right pocket or my hand. I do randomly put it around the house and have to figure out where it is. Thankfully my watch helps me find it!

When I'm at my desk at home, as I am now, it's right in front of me, slightly to the left, under the left corner of my 27" Mac. This is where it's most often charging.

Sometimes it's on the kitchen counter next to where I chop veggies, as I'm following a recipe on the Paprika app.

When I'm in bed, it's on my bedside table. I can also charge it here.

When I'm out and about in the world, it's in my right front pocket.

In my car, it has two spots: a dashboard holder or this little pocket in the dashboard that I think was designed to hold flip phones (I drive a 2004 minivan) but luckily still big enough to hold on to my iPhone, though I have to tuck it in on a slant.

At work, it used to mostly stay in my work bag, but toward the end of this school year, I started putting it in my pocket some days, and I like how it's showing my true step count. I walk a lot at work. So I'm thinking of getting more work pants with good pockets and making that a new habit.

When I glance to the right.....I can see it on top of the book that I'm reading.
In the car and when I'm sleeping, it's in my purse. I usually charge it early in the morning before I go to work, or in the evening while I'm watching TV or doing other things in the house.
When I'm at home, it's either on the dinner or salon table; if not....it's in my purse.

When I am at the computer, it is beside me in case someone needs to get ahold of me. Otherwise, it is on my side table in the living room. I charge it there too so it doesn't disturb me when I am sleeping.

It’s in my hand right now. I’m sitting on the front porch waiting for the locksmith to come help my neighbor get her keys out of her car.

My phone is usually in my front right pocket or in my purse, on the table next to me during the day or at night. I have a charger at my desk and on my nightstand, so I charge it whenever it’s getting low.

I don’t have an Apple Watch, but since Megan‘s phone is here on my desk while she’s on her mission, I’ve used it to call my phone to find it… Lol

I don't have an Apple watch, and calling it doesn't help (I have hearing aids that act like Airpods, so it rings in my ears, but doesn't tell me where it is).... so I'm left to search. lol!

I have some scrub pants that I like to wear around the house that have a big thigh pocket, so I just slip my phone in there. I also have some yoga pants/joggers that have big front pockets. If it doesn't fit in the front pocket, then I put it in the back pocket. But then I have to be really careful that I don't forget it's there when I use the restroom or my phone might end up in the toilet.

It's on the nightstand next to me right now. At work, it's under my monitor, though I rarely look at it. In the car, I have a hook for my pop socket that inserts into a vent, very handy. At night, it charges in the bathroom. I usually just carry it when out and about, but if I'm wearing a dress with pockets, then I'll store it. If I need my hands free, back pocket of jeans if I'm wearing them. If it's hoodie season, then the uni pocket in the front. I love that my outdoor anti-gravity chair has a spot for a phone and a cup holder. I like to sit out there on the deck and listen to a book or podcast.

Right now I'm sitting on my bed with my laptop, and my phone is on the corner of my desk, which is right next to my bed. That is where it is when I'm sleeping too. When I go into the kitchen or living room, I tend to sit it on the coffee table, but sometimes I'll bring it in the bathroom and leave it on the dryer too. So basically, it could be anywhere, but at least I know it's in the house! In the car, it will be in the phone holder attached to the vent.

During the day it is always on my desk, even if I'm in another room. The charger is next to the desk so it can be charged during the day when needed.

At night it is on my nightstand since I do use it as my alarm clock on those mornings I need to get up.

When I'm out and about, it is in my purse.

If I take the dog for a walk, it is in my front pocket. Since it is a Samsung Flip 6, it fits rather nicely.

If I'm walking around it's usually in my pocket. My hearing aids are bluetooth capable so I'm always using my phone to listen to audiobooks via my hearing aids but they can't be too far from each other otherwise it gets staticky.

At bedtime it's charging on my nightstand or occasionally on the floor if I knocked it off.

Otherwise I have certain spots where I have the phone: on the dinner table, on the coffee table, on a shelf in the living room, or a side table by my reading chair. I rarely keep it in my pockets.

For when I work, I have knitted a special phone sized purse, so that I can always carry the phone with me, even if I wear a dress without pockets. Sometimes I use that purse too if I want to listen to podcasts while doing my chores.

I actually don't use my hearing aids to listen to audio books. Apparently, when I listen to people talk - like even on the talk radio, or my audio books in my car, I like it loud, haha! I do watch tv shows on my phone or reels, but lower the volume and use CC. I love that Bluetooth ability though!

I go nowhere without my phone. I consider it a safety issue, and like to make sure I have it in case I have an emergency and need to either call 911 or my family to come help me out of the jam. But my phone is my Internet and I use its hotspot to do my digital scrap submissions.

I listen to stories, and YouTube (my favorite subscription, no ads) all day, with AirPods in, so my phone is in the middle of the house. Dedicated spot during the day.
If I am going out, I have a small purse with a pocket for my phone, a place for my wallet and keys, and Carmex lip balm.
At night, it charges on Sleep/Do Not Disturb next to my bed.

But I have a new phone on backorder, so I am pretty happy! We have had these for 6 years!
