In the holiday prep, that is...
I spent all day today wrapping gifts. I still have a few more that haven't arrived, but other than those, I'm finished with that. My goal is to be ready when we get out of school on Friday. I'd love to be able to just relax and enjoy the holiday and the break. I still need to shop for food and just get through this week :giggle The kiddos are wild!

So, where are you?

Um…I still have a whole lotta wrapping to do :hide wish me luck!

Ummmm still ordering gifts. I’m behind this year…. lol. And I wrap Christmas Eve.

Most of my shopping and wrapping is done, apart from my hard-to-buy-for in-laws! But not a cookie has been baked, nor an ornament hung! We're going to be busy being merry this week!

All gifts have been bought. So far only one is wrapped because I need to give it to my Aunt tomorrow when we take her out for lunch. We will not be seeing her Christmas day as she spends that with her side of the family. She is my last surviving Aunt but is only related through having been married to my Uncle ( my Dad's brother). They never had children so I am sort of a substitute daughter as she does not get on well with her blood related nieces.

I've had presents wrapped under tree for a week. We are doing christmas with my family on Weds as Asia and my parents will go to Florida for Christmas .
And not be home till jan 2nd.. and I leave for Morocco on the 5th

OK. We put up our tree after the 7th... to differentiate between birthday and holidays. This is because my son's birthday is the 7th, and I never wanted them to be clumped. So, we put that up the 11th as a family.

I am currently ordering gifts, and will start to wrap as the week goes on, when I'm mostly done. We are at that weird stage where it's quiet, no littles and lots of clothes, lol! I do stocking stuffers at Walmart a few days before.

We need to take the tree down by New Years Eve... we leave on the 1st for our cruise and won't be back for 2 weeks... so I get to pack too!

The tree was purchased the day after Thanksgiving, but I didn't get around to decorating until a week later. Whoops! I have most of the gifts in hand and wrapped, but there is one more order I'm waiting to arrive. So, I'm in pretty good shape right now! Yahoo!

I put my tree up this year before Thanksgiving as I didn't have any fall decor and nor did I want to buy it. I knew with hosting Thanksgiving, I would not feel like putting the tree up the day after Thanksgiving..... so that part I was ahead of the game. The gifts, wellll.... as indicated earlier, they don't seem to be a priority for me this year. LOL

No gifts to buy so no wrapping needed. The little decorating I do was done on the 1st.

I am contributing rice krispies treats to Christmas dinner at my cousin's. I'll make those on the 24th. But they are quick and easy.

All the gifts are bought (except one for dd’s in-laws) but nothing is wrapped yet. Planning to get that done later on the week. Today and tomorrow will be baking squares. Decorating was done at the beginning of the month so all good there.

Getting there ... all of the gifts have been ordered, except for the gifts due to be delivered today, they are all wrapped. I hauled my tree out of the basement this weekend and assembled it. Dragged the ornament boxes down from the attic. Grandkids are due to come over on Sunday to decorate the tree ... pizza for lunch is the bribe, lol!!!

I still need to go to the bank to get cash for my nieces and nephews.

I have the decorations up and the gifts bought. Still need to wrap everything though.

I am still ordering gifts, but I am happy that we already bought a tree at the weekend!:tree (here in Germany you put up the tree on the 24th or a bit before...)

My adult kids are done, but I really should think of something for my roommates, and maybe my colleagues' kids. I'm going to a Bible study tonight and we're have a sock exchange. So, that will be fun. Seeing two of my kids on the 27th. First time my oldest can't come back to Oregon for Christmas, couldn't get off work (new job), so it's kind of low-key. It's different when there aren't littles.
