When you go somewhere often

Even aquariums change over time.
Funny story about this aquarium: We first visited it when it was almost no more than a pet store. The second visit was when it had moved to an old grocery store. Then it moved to where it is now. Most people don't realize there was a pet store version! This aquarium is still in the process of changing a lot with the exhibits.

And you've prompted me with more ideas for how to document some of our trips!

I do go to a lot of the same places with my grand kids. I used to take a lot of animal photos at the zoo, but then realized "What do you do with all of them, and yes they were mostly the same." so Now I try to just take kids photos or kids in front of the animal or whatever. Since the kids are growing, that works, to have them at different ages. In fact our zoo has a stand up figure of a baby giraffe, where you can see how tall you are compared to it, and I try to take at least one photo there every year.

Can you hand off the camera to someone else and get a few photos from a different viewpoint?
My sisters daughter passed away unexpectedly a few years ago leaving two small kids no mom. My sister, me, and her other daughter decided to pay a visit to them and spend a few days together doing fun stuff whic also included total makeovers of their rooms however they wanted themm. As part of this we wanted them to show self expression so bought a couple of disposable cameras at Walmart and set them free in the yard with Becky sort of supervising, while Kath and I painted and cleaned. What amazing and wacky pictures they took. We did a photo collage from each camera letting them choose their favourites. Those collages are total works of art with amazing memories.
