When it rains...

So these things have happened this week.

Tuesday night we had power surges due to a storm that was rolling through and it killed my printer. I've tried everything to try to get it to work again and it's just not happening. Luckily we have a backup printer that we use for everyday printing but my old printer used the Vivera 02 inks and I really really loved how bright the colors showed up compared to our other printer. I'm not even finding any current printers on the market that use these same inks. I'm sure I would be the only one that would notice the difference, but it sure is making me sad.

Then yesterday when our landlady came to pick up our rent check, she informed me that she was planning on putting the house on the market 9/1 and that we needed to be out by then (unless we decided to buy which we aren't going to do). I'm really hoping that being forced to move helps us get into a place that we're happier with. So really looking for the positive in this, and at least we have a couple of months to house hunt.

LOL I know that compared to many these are small issues, but yikes they feel big to me right now. Not even sure if I'll be able to find a printer that I'm as happy with as our old one in our price range (if anyone has suggestions I'd love to hear them!). And the cost of moving..even locally..yikes! Keep your fingers crossed for us that we can get into a place we love!

Well that stinks Sarah! I totally would freak out if my printer stopped working and had to use a backup. Hopefully you can find a replacement that you are happy with. Not sure if I should be happy or sad for you about the house. I know how it is to live in a house that you aren't happy with, but the thought of moving is such a pain! Hopefully you find something that makes the move worth it!

I really sympathise Sarah, my husband and I were served with two months Notice to move out of our house in early June. We get the keys for our new house on Saturday. The financial pressure of trying to find over £2000 in advance rent and deposits and estate agents fees has been the most difficult...

But, stay philosophical, after the initial shock wears off then the prospect of a move can be exciting! A new house, a new start... fresh starts are great!

Did you google your printer problem? Did you call the manufacturer?

Sorry about your printer Sarah. I know how much I've been using mine lately and I know I'd be really irritated if mine died. Hopefully you can find a new one that is even better than the last and in your price range. Also, sorry to hear that you're being forced to move again. YUCK! But, I do hope that means you'll find something you love and maybe it'll be even cheaper?

That's the way, be positive- have faith- get on looking as soon as you can, but with the positibve attitude you are half way done...

That's because IT IS BIG-
never think that way....(that yours in nothing compare to others) is good to put it out, it helps getting solutions and lightening your heart and mind....
