What's Your Favorite???

Okay, I have been thinking of this for a few days, so I decided to come on in here and post it.

We all love browsing the galleries, and SOMETIMES we save a really great layout to our favorites. This is not that.

What I want to see is your favorite layout (or 2) of your own. Go into your own gallery and grab your favorite layout. Bring it back here and post it so everyone can see! And then, if you feel brave, tell us why you like it. It'll be fun!! :yesss

I think for me, this one is my favorite:

I think I like it because I honestly had no idea where the layout was going when I first started. I had nothing but some challenge guidlines and a vague color scheme to go on when I started, and somehow it turned into a layout that I really really liked. I like the chalky-colored-in-ness of the title and stuff... those doodles are just so fun to play with!!

I'll post some of mine later, but I just had to say that this LO of yours is one of my favorites too. I saved it the day you posted it with big plans to lift it as soon as I get some rain pictures. :)

fun post, rebecca! i've to say that i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this LO of yours too! just brilliant!!!
a recent fave of mine is a easter page. LOVE me some blocks. LOVE it because it is a non-traditional easter page. LOVE how colorful it is. LOVE the photo processing:

Ooooh, Rebecca! I love that too!! What's so cool is how you worked the journaling throught the title! I'll have to lift this one for sure!

For me, I find that each new LO I finish is my favorite. LOL! I think it's just because with each one I complete, I see that I'm finding "me" more and more in my LO's. So...these are pretty recent.

I love this one, because I think I was able to evoke the feeling and emotion that I actually felt walking those beaches. It was eerily calm and peaceful, which totally belies what happend there all those years ago. I had put off scrapping this for almost a year, because I honestly just had no idea how I could ever put into form, that emotion. I think this one will forever remain one of my favs.

I try really hard to get down all those cute and adorable things my little guys say and do! I just really like looking at this LO. It makes me smile a big, goofy, giggly grin.

yay! thanks for playing along!

amanda, i totally LOVE :heartslub that page as well! you're right, it's the blocking at first that drew me in, but then it was the fabulous photos & lighting and shadowing and just overall style that totally sold me on it! love it love it!

Jordan, that beach layout is SO beautiful - so calm and serene and just beautiful! and i LOVE your fun, colorful layout of your little guy! i LOVE to look back at layouts of those funny things they say and do... that's such a fun age!

karen, can't wait to see your page!!

pause! I LOVE THIS THREAD!
can you girls link to the originals?
I'm finding some I NEED TO ADD TO MY FAVORITES!!

ooooh this is a fab thread to peek in! These pages are just soooo amazing!!!

I am very critical of my own pages...let me see if I have a fave or not lol

ok I think this one is my favorite...it's an oldie though. :) It was one of my TLP BYOC pages so that is special and it is different for me which is always fun I think. :)

I also like this one because that photo is sooooooooo Ezra!! He is always making funny faces and making us giggle! I just love him and I think this page captures him well!

crystal i LOVE those two as well! so different, but both so great! and each one highlights your kids so perfectly!

All of your pages are just gorgeous ladies! I'm pretty critical of my own :hummm

Oh my - these are amazing pages!

I think this is one of my recent favs since those pumpkins were so darn hard to photograph. Plus I like the expressions on my boys' faces! :)

oh my goodness heather, those pumpkins flippin' rock! amazing job on the carving! ours always look like we tried to do fine detailing with a chain saw... ya, that good.
I LOVE the extraction and the perspective of the 'floor' on this layout! amazing!

I love this one, even though it's totally not my usual style. It has all the things I love in a good layout: a nice striped paper, lol, journaling, and cutie pies.

Crystal, I cannot believe you are critical of your pages when they are so well loved in the community! If I scrapped like you, I'd be like, "Yeah, it's hard to choose a favorite because all of mine are so freakin' awesome."

This is one of my favorite pages...

I absolutely adore this photo - it is soooo Ethan! The rays of sunshine just fit so perfectly!!

You guys all have some seriously rockin' pages - I love them all!

kellie i love that one too! i am SUCH a sucker for stripey paper and bold colors against white.

leah, that photo is fabulous! totally love and can definitely see why it's one of your fave's!

Okay, here are a couple of my favorites:

This is my last one... just fell together and I love laugh everytime I look at it because of the memory it captures:

And I love this one I did for a challenge several months ago here to do the ABCs of something I think:

Thanks Rebecca! We had a lot of fun with these. Here's ours from 2009 - I liked these better, but the kids wouldn't go for cute this year. These were our first time trying 3-colour pumpkins - cut outs, skinned areas, and the rest left as is.
