What's up this weekend?

My best friend is here this week so we have been busy, busy seeing the sights around here (we just moved this spring). We have been to Baltimore and DC this week and have visited most of the historical sights in Richmond. The 105 heat is not helping much though...:thumbsdowns

What's on the agenda for the weekend?
 
Absolutely nothing planned for this weekend. Not even horseback riding this weekend (we've switched to every other week for the summer). I'm so excited to have nothing that I need to do and nowhere that I need to go!
 
Tearing down a wall!!!! I'm seriously soooooo excited!!! We're having some friends over so the kids can have fun hitting the wall and helping tear it down and then they'll stay for dinner and just to hang out

Tomorrow is church and then planning for the week
 
We're hitting 30 - 35C with the humidex this weekend, so I'm hoping for some indoor activities. My oldest leaves for camp on Sunday. Other than that, we're having a lazy weekend.
 
Not doing much today because Nate is working. The older two kids are playing right now, and the baby is sleeping on my lap. Tonight, we might go to church if Nate gets home in time {otherwise, we'll go tomorrow}. Tomorrow, my parents are coming to help us put in a new door!
 
Housework. Blah. It's hot. It might rain. We don't have any plans until Monday. We're going to take the kids to an art museum and visit a local bakery. It should be fun!
 
It's too hot here to do much! It's going to get up into the 100s so I am enjoying the AC. Think I'm going to watch some Netflix! I'm hoping to go see Spider-Man this weekend but that's all I have planned!

LOL now that sounds like a good way to spend a Saturday.

We ended up spending a chunk of this morning trying to make our a/c a little more effective. It's not been cooling very well, had an ac repair guy come in yesterday and he said everything was checking out but when DH got in there and started messing around he noticed that cold air was just spilling out of the unit so we spent the morning taking duct tape and patching all the leaks. Here's hoping it helps...I'm tired of sweating in my apt when I'm just sitting and reading. Especially when we're paying a fortune on electric bills to try to cool the place.
 
well we were going to go to the beach, but there's an air quality alert on--and my asthma doesn't appreciate those days.. and i don't feel like dying :p maybe tomorrow though.
 
Pretty much nothing. A little garden weeding, maybe the pool, and scrapping :)
 
This morning I ran 10 miles through the Fires of Hell (a trail race - was 90° when I finished.)

Tomorrow I have an all day triathlon camp, so it better be cooler! LOL
 
Well, weekend is almost over but we had a pretty good one. Ran some errands yesterday, and had a date in the evening :) And today we're just relaxing and organizing the house a little before we head out for vacation tomorrow :)
 
Weekend is almost done, just settling in to watch the tour de France, pretty quiet here but at least weather was fine. I hope things cool off, sounds unbearable...
 
we went out to sushi as a family. . . and yesterday the girls went fishing with dad and I took them swimming after. . . until the big thunderstorm (which we so desperately need here!), then a BBQ at grandma's. Today. . . heading out to church, getting my son ready for soccer camp and laying low! Happy Weekend ladies!

Ours has been fairly run of the mill. Hiding from the heat. Today Bugga had a birthday party at the splash pad and she had a blast! Now we are soaking up some family time. I need to get some meals planned, and some projects finished. We're pretty vanilla. :)
 
It's hot here today and going to be hot all week. Yesterday we had an impromptu water gun fight with a neighbour, a great way to cool down. DH won because he got the hose. :)
