What's up this weekend?

TGIF!....sort of :dizzy This is not going to be a fun weekend in our house, I have 2 sick kids and we have some heavy IRL things going so I'm just going to try and tread water until Monday. I am looking forward to the superbowl though! Those are my boys (the Giants)!!! So hopefully we get a great end to an utterly craptastic weekend.

I hope everyone has a good one!

Well. You know.

This morning I'm running 5 miles. Tomorrow 9 hilly miles, followed by 3 soccer games. Sunday is my coaching day, and I'm running 6 with them.

In between all that, I'm just hoping to be able to walk. :rofl

I think I am getting sick. Glad it is Friday and the work week is almost over, but not feeling that great. Angie, can you run some for me?

Kelly, I hope you are ok :)

Whew! I am tired just reading about your weekends, Kelly and Angie!

For us, I am sending dh off on an airplane this morning for almost three weeks. He is headed to Paris for a couple of days before ending up in Cote d'Ivoire, west africa for a medical mission trip. I am having mixed emotions. Excited for him, sad that I don't get to go, and a little nervous about our boys surviving with just me for the next few weeks. On the up side, since all the flurry of activity getting him out the door is going to be over, I am totally planning a sit and scrap day on Saturday!

I am glad this week is almost over! I am working on Sunday to cover for a friend who is a big Giants fan, so I hope I can get stuff done tomorrow! No big plans, but lots to get done!

So not starting the weekend off good here. I think I pulled a muscle in my lower back when I got out of bed to go 'tee-tee' around 3am. I finally got out of bed around 6:30am this morning and called in to work. Not even a hot shower has made it feel any better. I've got things to do before Sunday and the big game so this is not what I need right now.

I've got my 'face on' and will get dressed and head out to the grocery store in a few. Maybe walking around will help.

I'm sorry for those who have sick kids (Kelly!) or are sick themselves (Rachel)! Hang in there!!

Angie, you are my hero! :notworthy D'ya know that I think of you often when I'm doing my c25k? My mantra has become "anyone can run for one minute"! :happydance (OK, well, I might have downgraded that to "anyone can run for 30 seconds" :giggle As long as it works, right?! :giggle)

Becky, 3 weeks is a long time! I hope they fly by both for you and your kids!

I'm looking forward to the weekend! I hope to squeeze in some scrap time (although DH will probably complain if I spend too much time crafting, as usual... sigh) because I am in love with the new BYOC, and need to catch up on my Project Life. Tomorrow night is wine tasting club night, and then DH is headed out of town Sunday afternoon.

So... :hide I've never watched a SuperBowl but I am thinking I am going to tune in online and watch it... I don't get the rules and don't care for the game, but it's about time I had this experience! :)

You gotta watch the commercials! Some of them are absolutely priceless!

I am going to try to find my running groove this weekend, lord only knows where it went! I have so much new stuff to play with thanks to the fab BYOC release yesterday that I a NEED to get some scrappy time in. Headed to the indoor farmer's market tomorrow and a little shopping and picture taking with the family.

My plans are to relax and scrap! I just bought a bunch of BYOC goodies that I cannot wait to play with, I might even start today! Really, I have to get some packing and cleaning done too since we are moving in a couple of weeks to our new house!! I can't concentrate on much besides Pinterest lately thinking of ways I want to decorate and organize, lol.

I'm heading to a Women's Conference in the area with my mom and sister. . . hoping to be inspired and rejuvenated! That will be tonight and all day on Saturday. . . and I'll see some fun IRL digi friends there as well! I hope my yetdh is up for taking our girls skiing. . .

No plans for Saturday night. . .yet! But, we will definitely have the Superbowl on. . . more for the commercials now than the actual game~

I have to work today :( It's been nice having some time off. I do have the rest of the weekend off though, and if a friend and her husband get Monday off, we'll go with them to Disneyland. I haven't been in awhile...and we need to do something fun. We'll get Rick a wheelchair...which means we'll get to the front of all the lines! LOL! (gotta look at the bright side of things, right?)

Well, of course there's the super bowl. Sorry, Kelly, but I've got to root for my hometown boys - go Pats!

Tomorrow we're going to go shopping. I need work clothes, the kids need springy/summery clothes, husband needs jeans and both DH and I need new running shoes. Then we're going out to dinner. Sunday we'll watch hockey, then the Super Bowl, and then The Voice! I don't know what I'm more excited about - the actual singing competition or getting to drool over Adam Levine. :drool :yowza

Not too much going on in our house. I have a work call Saturday morning with Bucharest. Oldest boy has a birthday party. On Sunday...well, that's my day to get my football on! The hubster is grilling brats and a few friends are coming over. I will have time Saturday afternoon to work on my Project Life (except for the Sunday part). Who knows, I might actually scrap a page, too! :D

Tomorrow is Home Depot Kids Workshop and Sunday we'll go to friends for the Super Bowl

Tomorrow my son has a band competition, that as of last night he had no idea what time he had to be there or how long his part should take, so we'll see how that works out. DH might be having some friends over for gaming if it doesn't conflict. Other than that, a bit of scrapping, a bit of designing, and I'm sure we'll watch the Superbowl. So hopefully a pretty quiet weekend. :)

We have a 4 day weekend here. woohoo!! We are going to Singapore and the new Universal Studios there.

I "work" all weekend. My "days off" (without Kennedy) are Monday and Tuesday. DH is home today so we ran a couple of errands with little mister in tow and now I'm trying to get him to take a nap while DH runs to the dump.

We're renovating our upstairs bathroom. We literally had to have the whole thing re-plumbed and it is all walls-torn-off and floors-up so it is a disaster. We're putting in two small windows and taking out the bigger one. Total disarray. I'm going to try to motivate DH to get working on it. We had the plumber here so long on Wednesday I thought he was going to be moving in. Late last week we had the clawfoot tub refinished (on the inside), and now I'm going to paint it Martha Stewart "tin" on the outside. Our new vessel sinks and faucets arrived, but there is so much to do in the bathroom now, they probably won't get in until summer. LOL.

I had to have an x-ray this morning because I may have fractured my foot, so that kind of put a crimp in plans to go to the gym and for any other major on-my-feet action for a few days. Perfect excuse to sit and scrap, right?

Tomorrow we are actually getting to go out and be social. LOL. We rarely go anywhere, much less with other people. But a guy I went to high school with is having a b-day, so his wife invited us to get dinner. I'm so excited.

We don't really do the superbowl thing, but DH probably will watch most of it, so I'm planning on working on my next school assignment. Fun fun.
