What's up this weekend?

I actually managed to scrap this week so I'm hoping to get a finish up a few pages I started...other then that it's going to be low key. We were at Disney for a few days last weekend so I think everyone is still recovering from that! I am going to hit Whole Foods and grab some things to grill tonight and we will probably just hang out by the pool because it's insanely hot. I want to take the boys to see the new Pirates movie too..we have a bowling birthday party tomorrow afternoon, should be fun!

What's everyone else up to?

We are staying low key too. Both boys have been battling coughs all week and William woke up yesterday with a fever, we were supposed to go pick blueberries, but decided to stay home and now I am feeling like I might be getting something--joy! Would love to scrap, but will see how the day goes.

Hope everyone has a fun weekend!

We are doing a family summer clothes shopping trip . . . always fun with a teenage boy! Late this afternoon I have a couples photo shoot with a friend and her new guy . . . should be fun, we are going into Harrisburg City to take advantage of the urban sites. Tonight is steak on the grill and some friends over for a guys against the chicks trivial pursuit night . . .

and tomorrow is a scrap day for me!! I'm ready to get started on the June challenges with the new goodies I've snagged from the store!

Ooohh that sounds fun Lori! I love shopping for summer clothes ,because that's pretty much all we wear here. We should start a summer clothes shopping thread...I am always up for some enabling!

We are starting at Old Navy . . . my kid usually likes The Gap, Abercrombie and there's another one that I can't think of . . . I'm on a budget this month though . . . he's going to be shocked when I tell him that I think he should get his socks at WalMart!

I'm scrapping today!! DH is working (poor him) so I have all the time I want. :yesss I just finished some admin stuff and other boring duties, but now I am ready to just have fun! :happydance Tonight we're going to a concert (classical) and then dinner out.

Have fun shopping, Lori!

Worked late last night (10:30pm so finished just in time to have a decaff tea and go to bed). So no scrapping then. And working and scrapping today, although I am sneaking into the forums for a quick peek. A little later, my son has a swimming lesson, and then my hubbie and youngest will be back from the Scout Beaveree and will be excited to share what happened.

My 7 and 9 year olds wear alot of Abercrombie and Hollister...it's a good beachy style for them though. It's amazing how early kids start with "I need xxxx shirt" even boys...my 7 year old is the pickiest kid in the world when it comes to clothes.

It's a pretty busy work weekend but we have some good family time planned and Bugga has a birthday party at the pool this afternoon. Other than that...lots of relaxing, hopefully.

Kelly - Old Navy was a flop . . . took him to Ross's (like TJ Maxx, Marshall's, etc) and he found some "designer" duds there . . . the prices were still waaaaayyyy better than the mall shops though . . .

I went to water aerobics this morning (deep water...great class). Then we went to see Pirates (got a little nap in there :) ) I have to work tonight.

Tomorrow, we'll be getting Rick all packed and ready to head up to Alaska for work. He leaves early Monday morning.

I guess we'll also get the things done that he needs to do before he leaves. I have some things I want to put on Craigs List, but I'll need his help gathering them and getting them all cleaned and ready!

Weekend is almost over for us.

Yesterday we watched my son play football. My husband is the coach and I was talking to the team manager and said to her "Gee she looks like Cate Blanchett" looking in the direction of another mom and she goes "Didn't you know, it is. I thought Steve would have told you". I can not believe my husband forgot to tell me that Cate Blanchett's son is on our team!! They look like such a normal family.

Later today we are going into the city to see Vivid Sydney. A lot of major buildings including the Opera House will be lit up with light shows. It should be awesome!

today we went to the beach at the lake and baked in the hot hot sun. then we went out to dinner.
tonight we'll do hair cuts. boo. i hate cutting hair.
tomorrow hubby leaves for his first of many summer business travel trips. another boo. so there will be packing and the like. hopefully we can sneak in a fishing trip to the lake, depending on weather and timing.

WOW Amanda.... that is so cool! I could go for a little shopping or scrapbook time but unfortunately weekends are when my husband works normally. So it's same ol around here. The kids and I try to hang out and wear off some energy. Tonight I actually baked an apple pie.... the crust was a total flop but it tasted delicious! I'm no betty crocker. lol

Things are looking up for monday though. A trip to the mountains and maybe a tea house and some hot springs!! Yay for summer!!

Amanda, that is so funny! I can't believe your husband never told you!! :lol Ah, men!
