What's up this weekend??

Halloween weekend! What are your plans? Anything fun happening?

My brother's engagement party was today. it was a bbq by a lake and was fabulous! My mum and I spent all Friday making a surprise engagement cake which they loved!
Tomorrow is my girls' birthday! My babies are turning 8! So I'm baking cakes at the moment that I will let them decorate tomorrow. We are taking them to Toys R Us to choose their own presents in the morning and in the afternoon we are having some family around for cake.
Their real party is going to be in 2 weeks so I'm glad I don't have to think about all the extra stuff yet!
 
Today we have college football to watch. And laundry to do. How fun does THAT sound! :yesss (<--- how I feel about doing laundry :giggle)

tomorrow, church in the morning. then trick or treating and passing out candy in the evening. I'm SO ready for this holiday to be over. I really don't care much for it, but I just try to get through it and have as much fun as I can because I know the kids love it.

Other than that, don't think we have much going on.
 
I'm going to take my dog to a dog Halloween party today! :) I need to bring lots of treats for her because she can be a brat around other dogs, but it could be fun!
 
i'm in the same boat as rebecca.... except i've got some shoe shopping to do, so that will be my date with myself later this afternoon...
 
a little hike this morning, neighborhood fall festival this afternoon and pumpkin carving early evening........yay! i think my fav part of it all is just having fun taking photo's all day long!
 
Nothing much going on here...Garret is on nights so I plan on just locking myself away for the weekend so I don't get freaked out. LOL! So much family up here at the moment because the hubby's gpa is very ill so we will probably try to see some of them. :) That's about it..and hopefully some crafty time for me. I hope you all have fun weekends!
 
the boys are at their grandparents for an all day party (think cupcakes, costumes, inflatable bounce house, nature walks looking for ghost trails--i.e. the spray paint marks on the road from the utility workers LOL), Micah and I had a date night last night and slept in this morning (bliss!), I have a work meeting at lunch today, then the wrap up of the party at his parents house tonight. Tomorrow is church and then Trunk or Treat. hoping for some scrapping this afternoon!
 
I've got some scrapbooking to do, yay, and I have to finish Lulu's tinkerbell costume today also. Game 3 of the World Series is tonight, so we'll be watching that. Tomorrow is pumpkin pickin', carving, seed roasting, then trick or treating. I was supposed to go to San Francisco tonight for a Halloween Party, but me and JT are fighting a cold and dh doesn't want to go, so I think we're skipping it.
 
we are going to carve pumpkins, make cookies then a Halloween party tonight, tomorrow i work at my sons hockey concession from 8-4 then supper, trick or treating, bed.
 
yay! we finally persuaded meagan to be the red queen for halloween. her costume is a red velvet 'queen dress' as she calls it... so it was a natural progression i thought. but she kept resisting because she says the red queen is too mean and naughty. but finally, today she decided it would be fun. now i have to go out tonight and try to find a few red hearts to fix to her dress... and some red lip liner (as that is NOT in my makeup stash whatsoever). she said she's going to carry her stuffed pig pillow, because her favorite line from Alice in Wonderland is "I need a pig hear... I love a warm pig for my aching feet." I love her, she cracks me up! I'm super excited for red queen-ness!! (I tried to get the boys to dress up as the 'fat boys' from the movie, but they weren't having it. :giggle)
 
well today was laundromat day :p exciting.. Tomorrow kidlet & I are going to see that owl movie, and then go out to dinner to avoid all the halloween madness :]
 
Quiet day here! Just chores this morning, then tonight my oldest and his fiancé will take the little trick or treating, so quiet time for me!!
 
I worked a lot this weekend but not today, whew! The boys have a party from 1-5 then off to trick or treat :) Hope you're all enjoying the weekend!! I need a weekend from this weekend, that's for sure!
