What's the plan...

...for your Monday?

i've managed to get the kids to school and the little guy down for his morning nap (knock on wood). smooth sailing thus far.. how about you?

Oh I bet it is nice to have a little quiet time Amy!

Well this is the last week before the kids go back to school. But I have a ton of stupid little things to take care of. So there will be lots of little errands/chores today. Maybe if I work the kids really hard on chores before they go back, they will want to go back??! (Evil plan forming!!)

And there is almost always grocery shopping on Monday. So yay to food in the house!

I'm heading over to our new rental to meet with the property manager to do the initial walk through and then I'm going to stay there and start cleaning/sorting through boxes. I know it doesn't sound great, but I'm super excited!!

I just came back from a weekend away so I was getting Ben off to school and doing laundry this morning. Now we're off to the grocery store and Costco for some food.

I am tackling a laundry pile this morning too! I am usually super religious about doing it once a week, but fell of the wagon last week, and now have a pile from a week and a half, so that is my fun stuff. this afternoon, we are going to the library....and tomorrow, the boys start preschool!! (if you hear a little squeal of joy about 9:01 tomorrow morning, it is coming from Oklahoma! :) )

ill be scrapping im so behind lol in between ill be playing with LR and doing laundry LOL

Well the day is over for me. Looking forward to putting the little guy to bed and enjoying the evening. DH is out of town on business so I figure I will read, or scrapbook, or surf the net...

oh i have a ton of small things to do ... so far i've been to the chiropractor, drugstore, grocery store and to get a mani/pedi (yay!) ... this afternoon i need to clean out our mudroom, clean the freezer (i left a diet coke in there last night and it exploded! ackk!), unpack a box or two (there's still some junk that needs to be unpacked from our move last month ... ), play with the girls in the backyard (sprinkler and maybe painting or play-doh), cook dinner, work out (i hope!), scrap and watch something junky on tv :) whew!

My kids went back to school today and I am catching up on some scrapping.

i think scrapping here too.. i`m so so behind *sigh* my little one is in bed already... keeping my fingers crossed he`ll stay there till the morning :whistle

can i be really honest with you guys? I FEEL LOST TODAY. I sent my baby to kindergarten today, so I have one very quiet and very empty house. I KNOW I should be using all my quiet time to do ever-so-productive stuff, but I'm just sort of roaming from one room to the next. Uggh. I MUST develop a plan for my empty days, or this is gonna be a LONG school year.

Let's see, I could start by making a list of what I need to get done... but that list would be AWEFULLY long, and I would HATE to get overwhelmed on my first day :giggle Maybe I'll give myself one day of randomness and start again on Wednesday (her next school day).

Amy, yay for a good start! Soak up the quiet time chica!

Claire, I LOVE the evil plot! I see you and I have a lot in common :shemademe Good luck getting everything in order and ready to kick them out - I mean, send them back.

Karah, that sounds AWESOME!! No fun about sorting through boxes, but there is definitely something very exciting about settling into a new place!! Enjoy it!

Carolee, these are all things I should also be doing... I'll let you do them for me. At least one of us will be productive!

Becky, I'm jealous. I don't have a laundry wagon. I should get one. I am horrible at keeping on top of the laundry. Really horrible.

Dana, you are making me feel bad just reading all the stuff you've gotten done today! Stop it! Just sit around and do nothing for a bit so I don't feel so guilty!

And for all of you who said you're just going to sit around and scrapbook today... :pffft So there!

awww rebecca.. a quiet house is weird, no? i'm sure you'll figure a routine for yourself in no time!

yes a quiet house is very weird after 9 years of noise.

i ended up running a few errands - got me out and around. i went to a dance store downtown and found a CUTE little dance leotard for Meagan - she starts her first dance class this Thursday... has always done gymnastics before. I can't wait to surprise her with it! Other than running errands and going shopping, I tried to just do anything. Got the kitchen cleaned up and did the dishess... that counts for something, right? Plus, I colored my hair. Nice use of time. :)

I'm sort of new around here - no real plans for today (even though it's half over with). This is the last week before school starts.

I had planned to tackle the laundry-to-fold-and-put-away-pile, but my bushel of tomatoes from the garden beckoned to be made into sauce. I did get a layout done (the first in ages); hoping to get another one or two done this evening after I put the kids to bed. Hubby is out of town on business tonight and the rest of the week is CRAZY!

Welcome Lynn! Glad you're hanging out with us!

Mmmm... fresh tomato sauce! I'm coming over! Yay for scrapping! :heartslub

Today.... I've thought about the laundry thing but have concluded it can wait till tomorrow....lol!

I've been playing around getting organized for preschool stuff at home, including my favorite project- putting together Jacque's Story Starter's here and here together! I am so IN LOVE with these i can't say enough!!! ((((Jacque)))) you ROCK! These are soooooo soooooo FUN!

I made peach salsa...turned out really yummy so I'll be going out and getting more supplies and can up a bunch to last us through the winter...maybe?

Also finished up a book I grabbed this weekend at the library. Wild Ride by Jennifer Cruise and some dude (LOL). Very quick entertaining read.

Sheesh...I should probably do some laundry or cleaning or something productive.

Sorting clothes, organizing dressers and closets. I need to get rid of lots of junk. :) Glad that hubby's at work and not at home otherwise he would flip.
