My mother in law is headed home today, and I plan to scrap the day away.
Leftovers for food, maybe I'll feel up to making turkey noddle soup this afternoon. Or hoagie rolls for sandwiches. But it'll be a lazy day.
Saturday, dh heads back to work, so I must do laundry by then. And Sunday is church. Other than that, I plan on a quiet weekend.

What are you plans?

We're having a lazy weekend! A second, small, 5-of-us-only turkey day tomorrow, lots of crochet time, reading, watching movies. If we get to feeling froggy we might go see Moana. <3

A quiet weekend sounds good @bestcee!

Today we're taking it easy... we're at our house in Michigan so it's quiet here. We're going to do a little shopping at some of the small, local shops in a bit and have lunch out. Then back here to put up the tree, play some games, have leftovers for dinner and watch a movie.

Tomorrow we drive home to Chicago. Nothing else, except my son works his first evening at his new job.

Sunday is church, the kids will need to be there early as the youth choir sings in service. Then home to put up our tree and get ready for the week ahead. I desperately need to scrap, not only PL but a gift album as well. I am disappointed in the black friday printing deals this year. Last year My Publisher offered a voucher for $40, which got you an 8.5x11 book with unlimited pages and lay-flat pages as well. You had three months to use it. That's what I used to print my gift books last year. Oh well. It's a moot point if I never get the actual book done, right? :giggle

We are all going to see the BodyWorlds exhibit, tomorrow and then out for dinner. Will be the first outing with DS1's girlfriend and I am so looking forward to it, the exhibit, spending time together and having some ribs after wards.

I saw blurb had a 50% off deal. Don't know how much that would save you though. @tkradtke

Thanks for the info!

The MyPublisher site is offering 60% off right now... but it has to be ordered by the end of the day. There is no way my book will be anywhere near done by then (unless I abandon the scrapping I've done, and just autoload photos into their templates). That's why I really enjoyed the vouchers... I could take advantage of the deal now, but have some extra time to complete my projects. Next year I'm just going to work further ahead and have my books ready to go by Black Friday.

Oh! I can't believe I almost forgot! I get to finish out my Sunday hanging in the chat room here with Liz, one of our fabulous designers! I hope you can join us!

I am shopping. bahaha. actually, I am making lists of my family's December activities so I know what I need to buy, after I actually mark off what I bought last night and today. :dizzy
We'll put up the tree this weekend, start on some Christmas movies and books, and possibly the crafts.
By Monday, I will be soooo ready for the kids to be back at day care. I will need a break, for sure. lol

Well I may take a nap today also after being one of the dishwashers for a Thanksgiving dinner yesterday at a local church. (only staffing the big commercial machine not doing hand washing thank god) I am not used to being on my feet for 8 hours and came home at 4pm to go right to bed for an hour nap! Today, some laundry and maybe a trip to J.Jill to see if they have a pair of comfy pants WITH pockets for our vacation. I have a 25% off coupon. :bunny Tomorrow? breakfast with my women friends, a bit of garden work if it doesn't rain and Sunday a lunch out with Dick's daughter - her treat!

My main job this weekend is to get all the fall decorations packed and back to the attic and then decide what goes up for December. Not much at all this year but still some. Mostly my growing pine cone collection that has been sprayed white and gold over the years and a lot of white candles and fairy lights. @BevG I had planned to help my son gather the good looking pine cones in his yard down in Cary but omg! they were sharp! What a shock and I didn't have leather gloves to handle them. I'll have to stick to the softer MD and NC beach pine cones!

I slept in late this AM - then hubs and I went out for breakfast and stopped at a local "mom and pop" shop to pick up a few more toys for the grandkiddos Christmas (they really didn't need anything else! Ha ha!)
We're back home and hubs is taking a nap and I'm going to clean and put out the Christmas decorations.
We have to get groceries because Mother Hubbard's cupboards are bare!! Will do that later today - I'm making scalloped potatoes and ham for our dinner tonight and hope to scrap the evening away.

Tomorrow Harper and Greyson (our grands) are spending the day with us and Sunday we will need to rest!!

I have vacation days from work on Monday and Tuesday - yippee!! By then the house will be decorated and cleaned so I can just enjoy being home - pretending like I'm retired! :-)

We are doing a whole lot of nothing today -- cleaning house & watching TV/movies. After DD spent most of the morning iPading, I had her do 15 pages in a second grade workbook, clean her room, & read for 30 minutes. We'll do pizza and a movie (decisions, decisions -- there is a Christmas movie at 8 on CBS and a Christmas movie at 8 on NBC!) tonight. I have 5 more pages of last year's Countdown to Christmas album to do so that's my goal for the day.

I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow and finish up the laundry. Sunday, we'll go to church & then over to my parents' house to decorate their house for Christmas. My mom & I will take the kiddos to see Santa at the mall (expert tip: the line is always the shortest Thanksgiving weekend) and I will get this year's Countdown to Christmas album started Sunday night!

Indeed, we sure do have some sharp ones. They open nice though. I love the big ones you can find near the beach.

Glad you said something I misread it and thought it was too early in the day. Adding it to the day.
My agenda. Stinkin homework.
Hope to find some scraptime.
Lots of naps. I have had a very stressful few weeks with school and I'm pretty sure I'm just finishing out the semester and leaving. But doing the homework and fighting the stress make my joy hunt more difficult. Thankfully I'm done with one class the end of the first week of December.
We were going to do the tree. But I'm not sure how that's going to work.

We drove up to Williamsburg, Va for the weekend and are here now. We shopped some at houseware warehouse kind of place. Drove past the crazies at the outlet mall and had a yummy Italian dinner out. We also visited the Christmas Mouse (a Christmas ornament store). Tomorrow the plan is more shopping and more eating. Probably the same on Sunday, except we have to drive home that day.

This is always one of my favorite weekends (Thanksgiving weekend) because we are all always home and it seems like such a nice long weekend! Thanksgiving was a success, and then today I decorated for Christmas, cleaned a bit, did a little bit of late afternoon Black Friday shopping, and now sitting down to check in on internet stuff! Tomorrow I might hit a few locally owned stores for Small Business Saturday shopping, and then at night we are having a National Lampoons Christmas Vacation movie night with friends! Sunday is church, lunch at moms and then getting ready for a new week!

I slept in late after being out late for Black Friday shopping, we went out to run a few errands and then have been relaxing all afternoon. I didn't bring my laptop so no scrapping for me. We're having fun binge watching The Night Of and had jambalaya for dinner. Tomorrow we'll head into town to go to trader joes before heading home. I've got a bit of work to do on Sunday so I'll be staying home aside from taking Taz out for a walk.

Ruth (my youngest, age 9) had a friend sleepover tonight. The girls turned the lights out ON THEIR OWN at 10pm! The whole thing is actually quite charming, it's her BFFFFFFF's twin sister. Right now I am starting to put together my 2016 book. So crazy to see not just what my family was doing a year ago, but seeing back to when I started scrapbooking and was just thoroughly impressed that I could apply a drop shadow style.

Today (26th) is my son's 16th birthday. He requested a place called The Melting Pot for his birthday dinner. Other than that, laundry, cleaning, my daughter's horse riding lesson tomorrow and football! Go Pats!
