What's going on this Monday?

any fun plans?

we've got VBS starting today - the kids are excited... me too - will see if the need helpers or not.

I have been cleaning, surfing the web, updating blogs. Just got back from lunch and the grocery store. I feel like taking a nap but it is too late for that. Not much else planned for today. Tomorrow the movers will be here with all our stuff :wooot so we should be super busy the next couple weeks unpacking.

Back to work - certainly nothing exciting about that!

Lisa, how do you like it so far??

i'm still here in indiana caring for the twins. today is my last day as their primary care giver. actually 11 hours 50 minutes left :dancebun

they've actually been pretty easy this time around. it's the 7 month old german shepherd puppy that i would totally sell, give away...maim...if he wasn't the apple of my aunt's eye. total pain in the bum.

anyway. we've got some chores to do, a book to finish reading (i read them a book every time i visit - this time the lion, witch and the wardrobe) and then some pool time. which totally rocks for burning child energy.

anyone want a dog? :hairpol

Awww Lauren! I have a German Shepherd! They are usually great dogs - what's up with this one?

Anyway, my only plans for today are swim lessons for my youngest. It's supposed to rain for the next 3 days so I imagine we'll be getting crafty since we can't play outside.

it's a puppy. not well trained, either.

since i've been hear he has chewed everything. hanger, books, slipper, his bed, gloves, hats...eaten his own poo (no surprise there every puppy does) and eaten human poo that a child forgot to flush the toilet. i totally almost threw up on that one.

during this post i have told him no about 15 times and rescued another item.

and....for a girl who pretty much disdains every dog. ever.

oh. and my sprained toe. whole 'nuther story. and yes, it involved the butt face dog.

Well...yuck...that's awful :(

My best advice for the 11 hours that are left is to fill up a squirt gun. Every time he chews, squirt him with it. This is method our trainer used, not harsh but very effective. He'll stop. I hope that your aunt gets this little guy some help. GSDs are not a dog you want to be poorly trained...too smart and big for that!!

We are still in school mode here (this week is the last week, thank goodness). I am going to take the younger one to the zoo for a couple of hours. Then home to pick up the house and make dinner.

We'll I'm just getting some stuff ready because I have to work tonight. I usually like to have dinner ready for my husband and kiddoes so that when my husband gets home at 6pm with them he's not trying to get dinner ready for two hungry kids. It's also Caleb's very first soccer game which I have to miss... so sad, but I'll be okay. He's got all summer plus DH is bringing the video camera and my camera. But still... he's sooo excited though! :)

lol Lauren! I totally feel for you but it was definitely funny to read!

Well my Monday is almost over. Had a big day of cleaning as we moved my DD into the spare room (so my girls have their own rooms now) yesterday, and today was cleaning up some of the mess that came out of the spare room! It was one of those rooms that you see on the clutter shows! You know the ones where people can't even walk inside their own houses...well this room was like that! DH used to put stuff in the doorway and just push it far enough that he could close the door again! So everything just kept piling up in the middle! Anyway...I have some stuff to take to a baby 2nd hand shop tomorrow and DH has a few tip (rubbish dump) runs to do next weekend but the house will be much cleaner for it. And my girls are going straight to sleep rather than talking for hours! yay!

It is such a nice day here! We had swim lessons this morning, and a quick trip to Mickey D's for lunch. My oldest is seeing Marmaduke with his best friend at the moment, my youngest is having a playdate here with his best bud, and I am going to take them to the park soon. I am trying to make invitations for Ben's 7th birthday party that need to go out tomorrow, and we have a baseball game this evening.

Aghhhh...I am nursing a broken puppy. He broke all of his toes on his back left foot yesterday playing with the boys. I took him to the ER vet yesterday and they splinted him up. I had to take him to the ortho vet today and of course he scared the crap out of me...worst case scenarios of thousands of dollars worth of surgeries and possible amputation. But then I asked the odds of him healing normally and he said 75%. Let's focus on that, shall we? Poor Ziggy has to pretty much stay in his crate for the next month. And I don't even know when he's going to figure out how to poop. Poor thing!

well monday is nearly over... i tried some potty training with my son today, but we wasn`t really successfull *sigh* and i`m so tired... i think i`ll go to bed very early today :wine

Plugging away at work - There is a possibilty that the company I work for is going under (dang MI economy and banking), so it's been fairly busy and fairly stressful around here. I work with just two guys and we all get along great and I just am feeling bad for them - the owners! Tonight I am getting ready for our garage sale this weekend!

JT started Day Camp today, Lulu's playschool is year round, so it was just another Monday morning for her. I'm at work and just completed our 2nd run-through of our agency's first webinar. We have the live one on Thursday. It's been very exciting. Can't wait for it to be over!

I'm back at work tonight after an awesome week off. I made some cold brewed iced coffee and that's helping me get through it. I can add to the dog stories today. We got my pug a dog house and she's afraid of it! I spent a good part of this morning trying to bribe her with treats to go inside. She will either just swipe at the them from outside or bark/whine at the dog house as if that's going to help! The dog house is so cute and I will be really bummed if she won't use it!

Today was the Last Day of School for our district and now.....it's time to really work! We've got a new K-4 school opening in August and conferences to attend so this summer.....along with my personal life events will be jammed packed! But thankful that I have family & friends to enjoy all the fun times!

It's now Tuesday here and I am home doing housework and groceries and hopefully a little study done too.
