What's for Dinner.....

We just got back from the store...I bought some steaks to throw on the grill and stuff for a salad. DH is in DC tonight so it's just me and the kids. I always get in a dinner slump...what's on the menu for you tonight?

I read this as what's for dinosaur....

*I blame tired eyes - Mason and Bella both had a rough night

I was at Target so I grabbed some Pizza. The neighbors and I are gonna have some Margaritas so I wanted it to be easy peazy tonight! :D

I think we are having leftovers. wonk wonk I've been packing/moving/unpacking DD all week, and I'm beyond exhausted. Last night, she didn't get home from work until almost 10:30 (working a 14+ hour day), so I have been trying to help her out. Needless to say, my own housework/cooking/etc. is suffering because of it. LOL

I'm making brocolli cheese soup and rolls with a salad. I need to get groceries tomorrow - we actually had to go get breakfast at MacDonald's this morning because we were out of oats AND cereal.

navajo tacos. essentially it is fry bread with chili, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, etc on it. Not healthy but yummy!

Hoping the ol' man comes up with something for dinner tonight as I was in a ****y mood yesterday with having to cook dinner. He's home all day and I'm at work.....really?!?!?! He said I should call him and tell him what we're having. Okay.....I don't recall you ever calling me at home and telling me what we were going to have for dinner. ARGH!!!

****OK, my rant is over with for now. Please return to your normal daily activities.****

We are grabbing pizza after the boys soccer practice tonight because I have a girl friend coming over so we can watch a couple of Twilight movies :) so, we are going with quick and easy!

Greek sausage with pasta of some sort and probably salad ..we almost always have salad.

We had pasta with meat sauce. Super exciting! ;-) Tomorrow is marinated pork chops, rice and carrots though - and I'm pretty excited about that :)

I made my hubby's favorite dish. It's called Speed Shrimp and Sausage Paella. I posted it in a thread a month or so ago. It's a Pampered Chef recipe with rice, shrimp, sausage, artichokes, peas and a super spicy cajun spice added in. It's hot! But delcious! It's definitely a PB&J night for my kids when I make that one though! :)

It's sooooooo delish!! I've made it twice now, and I have all the fixin's to make it next week! I don't do it in the microwave though, and I don't add peas!

Tonight we had burritos. We really haven't had them in a long time, so it was a good easy fix. I bought TONS of chicken last night at Winco, and I need to marinate them and freeze them in bags. That's always an easy thing to have for dinner...especially if I have to work late. Rick can thaw them and throw them on the grill...he'll make some kind of pasta thing for the boys too. If I'm home, we'll have salad and/or veggies. I'm ALL about easy!!!
