I am always looking for new things to make for my family .. :P so what is for dinner tonight at your place?

Here we are having:
Maple/Mustard glazed chicken.. one of my family's favorites..

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
dash of soy sauce (I used about 1/2 tablespoon.. just for zing)
Salt & pepper
Fresh rosemary

Bake on 425 till chicken is no longer pink (about 40 mins)
If sauce is runny.. throw in broiler for about 5 mins

Place chicken breasts into 9×13 lined baking dish. Season with salt & lots of pepper. Pour mustard mixture over chicken. Make sure each breast is coated. (leave a bit of sauce to baste halfway through) Put some more pepper on, if you please. No need to marinate. (I love that because I hate marinating/often forget to until it’s too late.)

Half way through cooking, pour leftover sauce on top..
turn chicken if need be

I am gunna serve it with Garlic mashed potatoes and fresh (fried in butter) green beans

oh, that sounds yummy... I might have to try that. I totally didn't know what I was going to make tonight, you've solved my problem!

No clue. We'll see what I feel like making when I go to the grocery store in a few minutes. :giggle

I DON'T KNOW!!!! I don't really like to cook & planning for it doesn't really help.

I think we are having One Pot Wonder because I am feeling lazy and tired and fat (not sure what the fat has to do with it other than I want to be a sloth. lol).

DH is working late, so most likely a sandwich or something lite and soup for my kiddo.

Angie - that looks amazing! I made chili last night so today I picked up stuff to make chili dogs & I think the kids and I will make cupcakes for dessert.

we are on day 10 of 21 low/below 10 carb day challenge....and I am breaking out the shrimp tonight! Stirfry cabbages and shredded carrot(1). Kids will have it over rice! woo hoo

it's in the oven now. *just* had enough dijon lol. and we only had lemon marinated chicken breasts (pre-marinated at the store and frozen) so I'm hoping that's ok. It wasn't a very strong taste when I cooked it before... I'm hoping it works out.

We're having it with leftover rice and honey dill glazed carrots.

Wow, 10 grams of carbs, that is amazing. I am trying to go low carb this week and perhaps next as well, but aiming for less than 30 or so. I don't think I could do 10 (especially considering I already cheated with one Samoa today! :giggle

I had planned on pork chops but forgot to get them out of the freezer in time, so instead we will have skirt steak and snow peas tonight and the pork chops tomorrow.

I forgot to get my pork chops out of the freezer too, that's why we are having pasta. LOL!!!

It's 5:00pm here, and I still have no clue what we are having...and I have been in my PJs all day with a child home sick from school, so I had all day to think about it. :( Probably will do breakfast for dinner - like pancakes or something - it's a no fail dinner around here and kids think it's a treat to eat that at dinner!

that chicken was AMAZING! ran out of dijon, but had just enough ;) and it was ok with that lemon chicken too ;)

kids didn't like it, but they're super picky so I knew they wouldn't. they're going to be very hungry when they get home from TKD tonight ;)

I think we are having One Pot Wonder because I am feeling lazy and tired and fat (not sure what the fat has to do with it other than I want to be a sloth. lol).

ooh Angie, that looks delish!! gonna have to give that a try soon!

We had turkey chili in the crockpot. Mondays are our "Dinner in the CrockPot... eat it when you want" days b/c of practice/clubs/piano, etc. None of us are home at the same time until after 7pm on Mondays. Nobody seems to mind eating alone and in front of the TV/computer on this one day, hehe.
