What is everyone up to this weekend?

We have a karate 'ceremony' later tonight for my oldest who is getting his first stripes on his white belt. And a dress rehearsal for the church Christmas pageant that is tomorrow night.

And we are riding the Polar Express tomorrow! The communities in my area organize it. We dress in pjs and board the commuter train to the end of the line where Santa is waiting for us. They have hot chocolate on board, it's supposed to be like the movie. This is the first year I was able to get tickets for it so I'm so excited.

Other than that, I hope to finish some pages I've been working on and get the rest of the ornaments and Christmas lights up. And conquer laundry mountain.

We have a pretty boring weekend planned. I am the activities chairman in my church and next Saturday is our big dinner. I'm going to be busy working on the program as well as the other handouts. I'll also be busy working on some TLP challenges and we're having guests for dinner on Saturday.

I hope to keep the schedule empty, and then be able to tackle MAJOR MAJOR declutter throw away give away AWAY AWAY AWAY in the house, so that next weekend I can bring in the christmas Stuff. hahaha!

And it's looking possible: the two teenagers are gone, one to State Drama meet, and the other to a youth rally weekend. an it's a negative temps weekend so that tends to keep me from wanting to leave the house woot!

Lots and lots of football watching on the ol' telly, some scrapping and then church on sunday. no big plans.

well when i get my a** off here and into the shower we are going to the boys football party tonight, tomorrow im at work and sunday i will be watching both the kids playing football so flitting from one place to another then were gonna put the christmas decs up then a drive over to telford to pay for the farm as they wouldnt take payment over the phone even tho it said ring to book

My boys have movie night at their school tonight from 5:30-8:30, so hubby and I will have a little evening to ourselves :) Then, regular running around stuff tomorrow and the zoo with my Dad on Sunday. Hoping not to add anything to this schedule...except some scrapping time!! :)

That sounds like so much fun to ride the polar express!! My kids love that movie :) We are going skating with Santa on Sat, my husbands company organizes it. the kids did it last year too and thought it was amazing, they are looking forward to it.

I was supposed to catch a flight in a few minutes, but I spent a good part of my day at the ER with the kid (stomach bug, he's much better now after IV fluids), and I thought it would be too tiring to go. I rescheduled for tomorrow and I'll be away until Tuesday. Going to São Paulo to spend time with my husband, who's working there now.

We're going to go get our tree and decorate for Christmas... we're also going to a family member's birthday party. I also hope to get our stuff moved back into our den so that our house can be somewhat normal again.... sounds like everyone has some great plans lined up!

we have a bday party on Sunday for my nieces, but other than that just hanging. I am going to make some soup tomorrow. I got the recipe from Sara, so she better hope I like it! *giggle*

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

The train sounds fun Carolee! Have a great time!

We're doing a whole lot of nothing exciting. I have a nail appointment, Costco trip, grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning. Probably will put up the Christmas tree Sunday I think

i just got done w/ a massage (sigh) and am now sitting in the lobby of the auto mechanic who's checking my car -- and has free internet! how cool is THAT?!!

we're having dinner w/ friends in the springs - tomorrow i'm taking my daughter to a brunch/english tea at a castle and then i'm thinking of talking to the man about going up to black hawk and seeing what that looks like. (he plays a mean hand of black jack).

sunday - rest and packing for a work trip.

oh and a few last decorations to get up.
