I was just talking to a friend of mine about that on Monday. She had tested positive on NYE and she still can't taste completely and she can't smell anything. She said it was so bizarre to eat when you can't taste anything. And that textures now matter most in what she eats.

My neighbor's son had COVID over Thanksgiving of 2020 and lost his sense of taste and smell. When I saw him in September of 2021, I asked if he could taste yet. He said "No". He was sad about it since he couldn't even help taste the foods/cake for his wedding in October 2021. Haven't seen him since to find out if it has gotten better.
