i found these ADORABLE little journals at Target the other day for just a few bucks. problem is, i don't know what i actually want to use them for. but they had birds & owls, and who can pass those up really?

what you you use them for?? just jotting notes? keeping a journal? a crafty project? i need some ideas to inspire me to get started!!

each one has a different style of paper in it, btw... not sure if that would influence your thought process at all...

are you taking a trip? Could the kids use them as their travel journals? Are they big enough?

I sometimes use those things for jotting notes in.

I'm a sucker for things like that, so they might just sit in my drawer forever looking cute!
 
I keep notebooks everywhere in my house so I can write down random ideas or lists, so that's what I would probably do with them.
 
How cute! I have a similar notebook I got somewhere and I think it's sitting in a pile somewhere. I'd love to know how you end up using it. :)

oh me too!!! i collect cute journals and keep them around the house to jot down ideas, list of things, whatever i want to remember....short term or long term....
 
Oh those are super cute.

I keep notebook and Journals everywhere. A couple journals I have scanned the covers and printed to use as cheap art around the house because they were just sooo cute but I didn't want to waste the journal part lol
 
I would probably just use those for jotting notes...I love cute little notebooks for that and these are adorable!

yeah , me too........ i have sooooooooo many....in everywhere.......
 
I have one by my computer always for writing lists or keeping track of ideas (TLP challenges are always in there each month) and the I keep at least one in my purse. Sometimes in a pinch I give one to my kids in church to keep them busy.

Those are super cute though and I would probably just look at them for awhile first. :)

heather i was kinda thinking about using them like the smash albums. only thing is i've already ordered a smash album, so that kinda defeats the purpose, maybe? but i still think i'll use it somewhat like that. i am thinking of filling at least one of them with my ideas and jots about daily activity. we'll see what the other 2 end up as.
 
It might be fun to make them into a little quote album. Jot down all the cute & funny things your kids say this summer in one place. Just a thought...
 
These are so pretty! I love Laura's idea of using them to keep track of quotes!
 
They would sit in my desk drawer and I would take them out every now and then, stroke them and then put them back. I buy really dull, boring, utilitarian notebooks because I don't want to mess up the pretty ones by - shock, horror - actually writing in them. I know, it's weird. I'll never make a paper scrapper!
 
I would totally throw one in my purse and keep the other ones in a drawer until it was full.. I always need a place to keep notes in my purse.
 
Oh for the cute! I would designate them for a certain kind of notetaking I think. Like jotting down "overheards" (quotes and phrases and words and all the cute stuff you overhear in your family) or dialogues. Snippets that you would scrap someday. That kind of thing. They are too cute to sully with grocery lists and such. lolol!
