Ok, mine is a tossed up between...

1 - a handmade book and card
2 - a package of extra strength Mucinex DX
3 - a 3hr nap

How about you? :giggle

btw. I still haven't heard anything about my Vitamix Order.... I might need to call tomorrow.

I am expecting to see pictures of cute crafts! I have to snap a picture myself.

my best gal friend took all my kids (her daughters are my daughters besties too) after church and said, you are like my best friend and the best mom, and I want you to have a good afternoon..go eat quietly with your hubby.
we went to eat, came home and my house was so quiet we wound up at her house laughing...lol
pics tomorrow of the sweetness my kids did...but I thought it was a sweet gesture from my bestie!

I got exactly what I asked for:

AND they even put it together for me. :heartslub

DH spent the day painting a room for me (swoon - I'm not sure weather it's from joy or paint fumes) lol

My boys woke me up with breakfast in bed that they made and then my husband did ALL the laundry and put it away. It was an awesome day!

For me... I would say the relaxing afternoon with my daughter and my Mom... It was just what I needed! :-)

WOW, that looks like some serious business going on!

probably 70/30 not sure which one is which. LOL!!!

awwwww nice... specially the laundry!

Sometimes that is all you need.

My family surprised me with a camera/messenger bag I'd really been wanting, plus 2 dozen frosted sugar cookies from my favorite bakery. Plus a handmade sign hanging from the ceiling. It was awesome. Best Mother's Day ever.

Helps that my son is now 18 and has his own checking account. He actually chose the camera bag and ordered it from Etsy. Isn't that awesome?

I don't usually get presents for mother's day & usually my hubby goes up & does work for him mom. Usually I'm given time to go to a movie or do something I want. Other than that I loved getting the cute school crafts from my boys, now I'm lucky if they remember.

This year my boys got exactly what I love....a big coffee mug (that says I Love Mom...Jason saw it and had to get it) filled with gift cards to iTunes, Amazon and Starbucks....what more could I need!?!?!?!?!?!?!

We always go to the zoo on Mother's Day...one year we couldn't go because Jason was recovering from a high fever, so we stayed home and planted flowers....it was so much fun!!!

Hubby and the kids got me some great stuff...a cookbook I've been wanting, a blank art journal, and they made me a yummy dinner. The best part, though, is seeing the handmade stuff they do at school and church. One of my boys wrote me a cute poem and then ended it by asking me what my favorite kind of chocolate was...:giggle:

Owen made me a self portrait at school and it was beautiful. Then we spent the day before together as I worked at 5:00am on Sunday. We went and saw Iron Man 3. It was a blast for both of us. I love spending time just me and him.

Two of our 5 kids came in from out of town to visit and one other kid got me tulips. The one in Cali had to work all day Sunday and the youngest, well......he's a whole other story but he did call so that's something! LOL Spent the afternoon sitting on the deck with DH and my parents just chit-chattin' and enjoying some ice tea while some of the grandkids were playing out in the yard. It was a beautiful day!

I got to celebrate for two days (Mothers Day and Birthday.) My favorite gift was talking to my Mom on the phone on Sunday and Monday :)

My favorite was that my twin girls arranged for their daddy to take them out to get me chocolate covered strawberries...completely their own idea! Also, I had over an hour to myself to craft on Sunday afternoon (that's the only thing I asked for).

I was at Disney World with my youngest daughter, my mom, my SIL and all of my nieces. I can't remember the last time I got to be with my mom on Mother's Day. It was extra special! :heartslub
