What to read next that's quick and easy reads

have you tried any Kate Morton Karen? I just finished her Secret Keeper and loved it .. was blown away at the end ... didn't see it coming ... although now I think about it quick and easy it aint.

How about Sarah Addison Allen - her books are pretty quick and easy and always make me smile :)

Thanks Lisa for the heads up - just snagged Sea of Tranquility.

The Jane Jameson series by Molly Harper is really cute. It's another vampire series, but I really liked them! The writing is pretty funny and the characters don't get hung up on their own drama.

I just finished The Twelve Tribes of Hattie, the latest Oprah book. It's not quick, and it's not light - but it really was good. The kind of book that sticks with you. Warning, though, the book is really short on a linear plot. It's Hattie's story, sort of told through her children. Each chapter is almost a stand alone short story - and they are all so powerful - but not really plot generating in the sense of "what happens next?" I really enjoyed it.

Another good author is Lisa Jackson. For an easy read vampire series, try Kerrelyn Sparks.
