What to do on a quiet saturday morning??

My husband took the kids fishing this morning, and I didn't even have to see them off! I think I'm alone for the first time in WEEKS!

My plan was to scrap, and I think I still will, but first I'm going to spend some time catching up on social media in peace and quiet. :)
 
I have the house to myself too, no grandlittles and hubby's working in his shop. I'm planning on a day FULL of scrapbooking and photography stuff, gonna work a little bit on my WP site too, maybe. :)
 
I'm here at the pod. Worked on something for hubby, but now I'm checking to see what everyone's up to.
 
Woohoo, that sounds awesome!! I am working on an online course that I am taking with a few TLP breaks. My plan for later is to work on some PL catch up. Enjoy the peace and quiet. Maybe they will catch some fish for you to cook :giggle I crack myself up!:giggle
 
I just sent my husband with my daughter to an end-of-school party she was invited to weeks ago. It's just me and the 17 year old. He's napping in his room. I'm catching up on forums and drinking tea. My plan is to do my weekly photo backup and then color my hair. My life is so exciting LOL!

This is my idea of Heaven on Earth!

I am so craving some quiet time right now. My favorite part of summer vacation has always been the early mornings while kids are sleeping and DH is working. Well, DH is on night shift now and while I am grateful that he has a job (he was unemployed for a year), he is now here and wide awake during "my" time LOL He goes to bed about the time DS wakes up UGH
 
My kids are leaving today for 8 days... they're headed out of state to spend the week with various family members in Georgia where we grew up. I'm not so sure what I'm going to do without them. My 11 year old has done this a number of times since he was 6, but this is the first trip for my 5 1/2 year old.
 
Sounds lovely! I had the opposite all week. My hubby went fishing with his buddies and left me and the kiddos at home. It was actually nice, but we were all glad when Daddy got home today too. :)
 
I would love a quiet morning, but truth be told I would probably use most of it sleeping! It is SO completely rare anymore to not be woken up 3-4 times a night by crazy littles or noises outside.

My boys left today for a week away with their cousins! I took my first nap of the week and hope to have many more while their away! Besides work, I plan to use the time to purge some of our clutter and other home projects.
 
The first thing I do when the house is all mine is to jump back into my PJs and grab my Kindle :D .... enjoy the peace :D
 
I stayed in my jammies til lunch time, drinking coffee, scrapped on my laptop and continued my marathon of "True Blood". I just finished season 2.
