Like they were no longer, ever, ever make it again?

The reason I ask, is I now have 4 bottles/containers of

Shower to Shower
Original Fresh
MY town does not have it any more, so I have to buy from Amazon. Best buy 4 in a box!
I love this stuff. It has a time release fragrance, and when you live in the hot desert...well
nuff said!
What about you?
I mean it goes without saying my espresso roast from Starbucks..heck I hoard it now...
but is there something, you know you just gotta have!?

ditto re the SB coffee, but I wish I could get my Alba Fit and Frosty shakes like I could get in NY.. I got them for a little while here in Va, but to order and have them ship it is too high a price. I have even had my friend check in the stores where I used to get it on LI but alas, she can't find it anymore either. I may have to bite the bullet and pay the high prices to get it.

I used to use a hair "gel" that was super perfect for curly hair, but was stiff and it smelled delightful too by Loreal. They discontinued it and I was buying it in multipacks on Amazon for awhile, but I finally found a replacement locally, so I gave up buying it. I figured after a number of years that stuff wasn't new because it was discontinued and I probably shouldn't be using it anyway. Lol

I have this lotion by H2O that is lavender and I LOVE it. I ordered it about a year and a half ago (it is a HUGE container) along with some shower gel. About 6 months ago, I contacted the company because I had long been out of the shower gel and couldn’t find anything similar on their website. They said it hadn’t been produced in six years! I explained it hadn’t been that long since I bought it and they answered that they had probably just found excess sitting around and put it on the website. I was both sad and not thrilled that my lotion was so old!

This week we are in Boston. Normally I don’t use any of the free toiletries that hotels leave out. But the place we are staying left a lavender and peppermint line from C.O. Bigelow and it is AMAZING. I looked for it on their website and every last review on their website for the lotion is from someone who fell in love with it at a hotel. I am just thrilled to have found a replacement I truly love.

I agree with the shower 2 shower ...actually, didn’t realize you couldn’t get them in the stores and now this explains it all. Good thinking though, gonna check on Amazon.

Can’t really think of anything else...I remember those Alba shakes too. Sure others will post and I’ll say to myself “oh ya, I remember those..wait you can’t get those anymore?!” lol

probably just coffee. I am happy with just plain black foldgers coffee. I honestly can't think of anything else I am too particular about.

I guess I'm the opposite; as soon as I find out something is getting discontinued, I start looking for its replacement, so that I am prepared for when I can't get it anymore. I can continue to use the old even while I'm trying and discarding other choices.

That said, I have three bottles of the old Avon cologne Contrast, because it was my favorite for a long time. When it was discontinued, my friends who sold Avon would gift me any bottles that they came across. Unfortunately, I stopped wearing fragrances after my oldest was born, because I found I didn't like how it lingered in the car (when it hadn't bothered me before then.)

I think I lived so many years in places where commercial products weren't available that I've never been stuck on any particular brand anything.(I'm not including England here. They had it all except peanut butter back then.)

Well I do buy Typhoo Decaf teabags from Amazon just because they are about 1/3 of the cost in one of my local coffee&tea shops. So much for supporting a local shop - not at that price! I always used Typhoo in England so it's just a happy memory thing. Actually I'd drink most any decaf black tea but the Brits and Irish make it good and strong which I like.

There's a few things that I always keep an eye out for: Lyle's Golden Syrup, Birds Custard Powder, Robertson's Marmalade, and Blackcurrant jam (can you tell my British roots are showing) and Western Family's Antipasto is the best I've tried (other than homemade).

I rarely use body lotion even though I know I should, but when we were in France I grabbed some Garnier 'mythic olive oil" lotion in a supermarket and it is just the nicest stuff to use. But nowhere else I have been stocks it, even if they sell other Garnier stuff. So I fully intend to stockpile and come back with a suitcase of it if I ever find it again. I have high hopes for the Carrefour (French run) supermarket in Singapore LOL. This is absolutely, definitely NOT a factor in encouraging DH to agree to a house swap there :cornfused:dancebun

If I had known they were going to be discontinued, then I would have stocked up on Triple Double Oreos. But I didn't know, so now I'll never have them again. :cry

I also love Sno-Caps, and I buy them in bulk cuz I can't always find them where I live. Like, when I see them, I buy at least 5 packs. DH got me a 20-pack bundle once for my birthday. It was one of those packs for, like, concession stands lol.

Bath & Body Works made this Lavendar Vanilla Bath Oil that I was absolutely addicted too. They discontinued it last year and oh, how I wish I had stock piled it!

I would stockpile coffee to last 50 years if I ever thought it was going to be discontinued LOL
Bath & Body Works original Honeysuckle scent from years ago, not the Wild Honeysuckle they came out with later, but the original...oh I loved it so and wish I had stockpiled it...

If I could go back in time to hoard the Victoria's Secret Raspberry Glace scent I so would!

My York Peppermint Pattie coffee creamer...International Delight doesn't make it anymore. My coffee is so sad. So are my taste buds.

purex laundry sheets. The ones that went in the washer and then into the dryer as a dryer sheet.
I did stockpile them because they got hard to find. Then I learned they were discontinued. I can't bring myself to pay the Amazon ridiculous prices.

And I stockpile Buffalo Chicken Bites at Costco every January because they only carry them then. I can get them other places, but the aren't the same.

Oh, Courtney reminded me of the cannoli kit at Costco that is around only in like Nov for the holidays. I buy 2 packs each year (they freeze well). DH laughs at me but I love them! They're small in size and they're great with my coffee in the morning. If we had a chest freezer then I'd buy a dozen boxes.

Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer sticks in PLUM. They discontinued them and then brought them back but now they're in limited stores. So when I find it, I buy at least 2. I love it and only that color

Red cabbage ( in a jar ) from Lidl. They only have it October /November... we can. Buy other red cabbage, but that is done the British or Italian way (a lot of vinegar, very sour ) this one is done like the Danish ones ,slightly sweet.
