to do scrapping wise?

Mine is journaling and a title im crap at it thats why my pages of last year had non but i made a vow this year that every page is either gonna have journaling on or a title if not both

What is your scrapping nightmare ?
 
journaling. i have lots of words in my head but they never sound good on paper.
 
templates. I just can't get them to work for me - they take me twice as a long as a regular layout would. :groan
 
Templates is another hard one for me, and scraplifting is a huge huge challenge.
 
Templates here too. I like them, there are even times when I would really like to use them. I buy them. They sit on my EHD collecting dust.
 
Alphas ... alphas take me forever. I'm no whiz with Templates either, but I've gotten better about templates as long as I remind myself not to take them too literally. Oh, and photo masks .. the swirly distressed ones. I just can't wrap my brain around them.

Journaling, however, I feel comfortable with now. To the point where I even think of photo-less pages to do just because I have something I want to get off my chest. LOL That's something I gained from being on the {WST} creative team, though. It forever changed me. Plus I love hearing Nicholas read pages to me out of his scrapbook, because I write them TO him rather than ABOUT him. Warms my heart, he always reads what I wrote.

I love :wub journaling! A page seems naked to me if it doesn't have a lot of journaling on it. And templates save my life :lmao Some days (weeks, more likely) I get so wrapped up in the drama at work, I just can't come up with a creative thought for myself. That's where the templates are a lifesaver. They give me the bare bones to get started...then I can just GO!
 
Title work is challenging for me. And I too have long had troubles with templates though I'm hoping to get better with that. Oh and anything altered arty. I can't seem to get my brain to think that way. At all. Oh and not using some kind of neutral background paper on every page. Or having my pages all look the same. LOL!!
 
Altered Artsy stuff for me too....and titles...and journaling...and taking up more space. I suck at alot! LOL!
 
it is hard for me to figure out journaling placement and title placement. it's always the last thing i do and it always looks out of place to me! i don't know what the dealio is.
 
I definitely struggle with titles as well, I love to do a great looking title, but have a hard time coming up with something clever. LOL Once I discovered that you can actually change templates up, I realized how much I love templates. and journaling, I really love to do as well. layers upon layers are hard for me, b/c I am always scared that it is going to look like, 'wow, she was trying way too hard!'

I had to figure that out, too. I still struggle with it. Sometimes I wish there was a "shuffle" button on Photoshop so I could open up a template then shuffle it so that I can see it a different way. I always feel compelled to work a template exactly as it lays, though.
 
Becky - I hear you on the layers. I always worry that someone is going to say.."Uh...Melissa. Did you throw-up on your LO?" :lmao

And Jenna - I've got major issues with shadows. I feel like I need special help with those!:helpy
 
I would say that I have the most trouble with journaling and titles. I started out with templates, so I sometimes find it really difficult to scrap without them.
 
i used to be like that with templates thought it had to stay as it was lol,also lizzy im with you the journaling never seems to be in the right place i move it that many times and shadows i cheat i use kristens
