I have been immersed in daily painting, cleaning, unpacking and such helping my daughter get moved into her new house solid for the last 2 weeks (and a little bit of pre-move work prior). The entire interior of the house was a sort of chocolate milk, or mocha Frappuccino color, including the ceilings. We have, only painted 2 rooms -- but a couple of coats of primer, followed by a couple of coats of paint is wearing me out -- not only physically, but making me mentally exhausted too. Now, each day I find myself asking, what day is it? Or actually thinking it's a different day altogether. I think we should finish the painting goal today!!!!
Do you have days or weeks like that where the days sort of just blur together and you aren't sure which day of the week it is?

Oh, you make me happy knowing you are painting (pics needed to see new colors), and yes to the days merging into the next. I have been purging room by room.
Emptying tubs of "why did I keep this?" and "oh, this is not staying". My craft room is so happy, as the last of the miscellaneous tubs have been removed. I have ONE room left. It holds the now-empty tubs and a few others I think, scooted in there without my notice. (I did not blame my husband).
I find myself taking showers at odd hours, and trying to remember last time I ate food!
But know Lisa, you will be so happy when it is all done! woo hoo
take lots of pictures and show us the process and final afters!!

Good luck with the painting Lisa!

Every day of summer confuses me lol especially last week because my husband got Friday off so it felt like Saturday.

The painting did finish this morning. Now she can finish getting the kitchen functional, and slowly unpacking into the craft/sewing space (really, it's a family room open to kitchen area). I'm happy to be done for at least a little while. I know there are other spaced she wants to change to the slightly off-white color from the brown.

I know that purging part well. I spent my first year of retirement doing just that knowing that I wanted to move to be closer to my daughter and grandson
