Ok we havent shared what were reading for a while so do tell me and what do you think about it and would you reccomend it

I tried to read Thirteen reasons why but gave up after getting to page 100 and still not knowing what was happening then i tried the sookie stackhouse but my mind was just everywhere so couldnt concentrate so went back to the very last in the shopahoilic, the baby one and am enjoying that at the moment nice light lol read

I just finished Best Friends Forever from Jennifer Weiner. It was decent - nothing earth shattering, but a fairly easy chick lit read. Nothing new started yet - it will probably be either Wally Lamb's I Know This Much is True, or Jodi Picoult's Handle with Care. I'm trying to plug through my books I bought prior to getting my Kindle, because I'm too cheap to re-buy them!

i think ive read handle with care is that the one when the girl is ill so they sue the doctor?,i used to love jodi books but now find them tedious i dont blame ya not rebuying i wouldnt either

I stole Shutter Island from my DH...so far so good, it's a little scary but I'm a big chicken :)

Yep, I think that's the one Karen. I read a lot of Jodi books back-to-back, which is why I've held off on reading this one. I needed to give myself a break from her!

I wanted something fun & mindless during my vacation, so I put all 7 books from The Black Dagger Brotherhood on my Kindle. They were fast reads, pretty interesting. Though, if you avoid books with sex scenes, these are not for you. LOL

i found that with the shopaholics all the others i read back to back and was starting to get fed up so had a break and went back

Think my next one will be secret diary of a london core girl

Ooh Mite have to google these The Black Dagger Brotherhood i like a bit of spice in my books and am always looking for something new to read,I would read the boy in the striped pyjamas but si watched the film and i caught the end so sunno if i will be able to read it now, anyone read it ?

We saw the movie, and honestly I was so disturbed by it, I don't think I could read the book!

I'm all about chic-lit right now...I've just read Sushi for beginners, from Marian Keyes, and I'm reading right now Twenties girl, by Sophie Kinsella.

it's cool, light, I'm laughing a bit...just what I needed!!

I just finished Nineteen Minutes, I think by Jodi Picoult? I gave it to my SIL yesterday so I'm not sure. I thought it was good - although not exactly light hearted, it's about a guy that shoots ten of the other students in his High School. I've never read any of her books before, I picked it up at a fleamarket. Now it's easter so I need to get a good crime novel - it's a Norwegian tradition to read crime at easter;)

oh i read nineteen minutes and most of her books leave you with that feeling kristine, ferdi twenties girl was on my list to read next dam i forgot about that one lol

I'm reading Notes on a Scandal by Zoe Heller and struggling to get into it really. I read the first two Hunger Games novels recently (thanks for the recommendation Jacque!!) and am waiting patiently for the third one to be released now!

I am so glad that you started another one of these threads since I have been searching for some new reads lately. I finished the 3rd Outlander book a few weeks ago and needed a break from reading for a bit, or at least from those books. I love them, don't get me wrong, but they are so huge it really takes a lot out of me. Not sure what I will pick up next but I have several that I have purchased that I haven't read yet. And I want to read the Harry Potter books again.

I just finished the 3 Eragon books. I love fantasy. They were fabulous stories but I've read better written books before.

i just started reading The Shack. I wasn't sure I really wanted to get into it, but so far it's reeeeaallly well written... tough to get through as a mom, though, because i keep envisioning myself & my children in place of the book characters, and then i break out crying... blah!!! i actually cried in the dr's office waiting room the other day... and i was only on chapter 3! i was SOOO thankful no one else was sitting in there. the nurse sort of teased me though when she asked if i was okay & i told her why i was crying, lol!!

Ferdy, I read Twenties Girl about two months ago and really liked it! I just finished an Elizabeth Berg phase. I LOVED durable goods which I think it book two, so I went back and read Joy School (both of those were last year) and then I recently found out that there was a third book, True to Form, so I read that. I also read We Are All Welcome Here by her (great book) and all a Year of Pleasures (okay). I just love the way she develops her characters so you just want to keep reading about them!

I'm currently reading Lord of the Flies and also a series by Debbie Macomber that my Mom gave me starting with 16 Lighthouse Place (or something like that). That one is a very light read, but decent.
