Podcasts? Music? TV (or kids fighting) in the background?


Lately I'm grooving on Bleachers' album Strange Desire, and the new Grand Romantic album from Nate Ruess. Throw in a little 70s music for old memories' sake, and that is what's in my head.

Hmm… I listen to chinese songs as I find it calming … -> I DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT THE SONG MEANS, THOUGH I'M CHINESE!!
OH WELL!!I guess Do whatever that makes me happy and CALM!!!
 
Lately I've been into my Singalong Songs playlist on Spotify. That's where I throw any catchy songs I know all/most of the words to.

some rock channel on cable tv, just music, nothing that flashes like tv

Just some spotify playlists during work. When at home, usually my kids, their shows or DH's shows.
 
I'm still loving Ed Sheeran. I also love to listen to my George Winston channel on Pandora when I'm actually trying to get something done on the computer. It's all piano type music without words to distract me.
 
there's a Sirius XM channel (2) when I'm in the car without kids. I think it's a pop top 40 thing. (We're enjoying the free trial. LOL.) usually flip to a 2000's station when they are in with us (cleaner lyrics, mostly)
I am LOVING a few songs specifically right now: Walk the Moon's "Shut up and Dance"; Echosmith "Bright"; Rachael Putnam "Fight Song"; Bea Miller "Fire n Gold". If they come on, it's my jam, and don't talk to me, because i'm too busy singing to hear you or pay attention. Sometimes dancing, too. O_o
other than that, i don't really listen to anything. I rarely play the music on my phone... or else I'm listening to Toddler music (and fighting!). Play-school/fisher price CD that came in a toy we got from something, or any of the various toddler music CDs I've found at goodwill.
 
I am loving listening to Alt+J and Husky for when I want a bit of calm and I also have a kick a** work-out playlist that gets my heart going with a lot of great beats and lots of volume!
