I can't wait for March to start!

This month has been crazy. I left on the 14th for one week in California to attend a memorial service. Unfortunately, the de-icing solution they used on the airplane wings before I left D.C. set off an asthmatic reaction. Long story short, I've been really sick since returning home. Yesterday was the first time on my computer in two weeks. The wind knocked out the power not long afterwards. Grrr. Three hours later the power comes back on, but no phone, TV or internet. Another long story short, the Verizon tech just left a bit ago and I have internet! Woohoo! Except I'm too exhausted from cleaning the house before the tech arrived and I'm too tired to scrap. lol!

So, what has your month been like? Did you participate in the Project Mouse Anniversary celebrations? (Yeah, I missed them, too.)

February is the shortest and the longest month. Too cold, too dark. Too frozen to go outside. March can’t get here soon enough. I did manage to catch up on my reading, though.

I thought I was going to do the project mouse, but I don’t have an active Instagram account anymore and since I’m a Mac and use Safari, I no longer have a Pin It button, so I can’t pin things from TLP anymore. So I gave up. I got 2 passport stamps, and think I should have gotten 3, but they never came.

Sorry you missed that Jan.
the month celebrating the designers has been really great, FANversary got me scrapping and I just loved the vibe in the forum and gallery - not to mention the awesome passport, stamps and prizes along the way.

The weather my side has not been too hot so we are coping although I would welcome Winter if you could direct her my way?
I do hope that you feel better and now that the house is clean you can play along with the new BYOC and challenges coming on Friday.

Well, that's a bummer! I didn't know that. I also don't have Instagram and never plan to. Facebook is enough for me so I can keep up with friends and family, and then I don't post anything on there anymore.

I'll be happy to send Winter your way! We've had a strange winter here. One day it'll snow; two days later it'll be so warm we're out in shirtsleeves. I know I'll be whining when the heat of August is here, but I can handle the heat better than the cold! I hope it cools off for you soon!!

bless you Jan.
At the beginning of the month I got ill again, so I've had little physical energy to clean house etc, which means I've done a lot of scrapbooking and art journaling instead.

Last week was the 1/2 term holiday, which included sharing my laptop with the Toucanettes. They've been guest CTing for one of my friends who sells at a different store and creates fantasy style kits.

Oh, how fun for the Toucanettes! They must be having so much fun!

I hope you feel better soon! At least you can scrap!

Wow! What a month indeed!

It has been a very February-ish February here. Ha! The kids missed 3-4 days of school because of snow/ice/wind. My son wrapped up his indoor soccer parks & rec league last week. I did some special projects at work with both of my bosses on sabbatical. The kids saw the new LEGO movie and have done some other fun things on the weekends here & there. What else?! Oh, and it's been a month full of toilet issues. As of this week, the septic has been pumped, the line professionally cleaned out, and a new toilet installed so hopefully March will be a much less crappier (ha!) month for us.

I'm enjoying that it's now light outside when we get home from work & school so I know Spring is coming! I'm really looking forward to being kidless this first weekend of March -- going to a local version of The V*gina Monologues, attending a social justice workshop, eating at a new bistro with an old friend, and going outlet shopping with my mom & sister.

Yikes Jan! I hope March proves to be a much better month for you!

I spent most of my February as a juror on a murder trial. That was exhausting. Now I'm playing catch up at work. :groan
