Today is our first day of Summer break for us, which means I'm done with work for now (since I work for the school)! I have been SO busy and have not had a chance to really scrap for quite some time! I have already told the kids we're doing nothing that even remotely resembles responsibility today, and I'm sitting at my computer and scrapping!

Off to leave some love, grab some goodies from the store, and start catching up.

I am working too. My kids are headed to art camp this afternoon, so I will have some uninterrupted get-things-done time. My exciting news of the day is that I just finished booking my airline ticket to go and visit Sara. Yay!! Can't wait!
 
We have 5 1/2 days of school left, so I'm trying to cram in as much as possible before my kids are home for the summer. Today I had a massage, picked up some groceries and then went for a walk with my neighbor. Now I'm just waiting for the madness to begin. :)
 
I've got tons of work to do today, have to fit in day 5 of the abs challenge I'm in and later I have zumba class.
 
I went to the gym this morning, did some scrapping, showered and had lunch. now I have about eventy billion loads of laundry to fold while I catch up on some TV, then I am going to do some sewing before the bus comes. This afternoon, both my kids have tennis and my DD has swimming after that....

Well I'm off today because I have to work this weekend. The boys are going camping this weekend while I work so I just came back from doing groceries for them. I need to pack a few things for my husband since I know where all the "camp" clothes are. I may paint my nails too... we'll see. My oldest has a soccer game at 6pm tonight too. Busy busy... ;)
 
I just got home form the office an hour ago. My hubby made dinner for us, and now I'm wondering what to scrap :)
 
Running to the potty, naps, board books.. My girls are almost 2 and 3 months, LOL.

My new wide format printer is being delivered any moment, I'm so excited!
 
Well, so far I've not managed to scrap one single thing! but the day is not over... there is still hope!

Instead, I've talked to my mom on the phone, taught my daughter (who is 9) how to make macaroni & cheese, run to the store to get a fountain mt. dew because it sounded SOOOOOO good, and signed my daughter up for horse riding camp. We are getting ready to head off to the stables now to see about a helmet and boots for her. While we're out, i think i'll get some mortar and grout so we can work on our bathroom floor tiles later tonight. And THEN i'll scrap! you won't believe how many photos I have had to download and unzip today before i can even think about scrapping! a TON! apparently I was WAY behind!

Wide format printer!!! I'm JEALOUS! that would be an amazing toy to have lying around! As it is, I own one black & white printer/fax for work purposes and an OOOOOLLLLLDDDDD cannon pixma printer that might have been manufactured by dinosaurs.
 
I'm at work, but it's my Friday so I'm excited. :) I'm taking tomorrow off as some of Eric's college buddies are getting together for a big full day family blow out since one of their friends is back from Alaska for the weekend. I work for an educational coop but we don't get summers off as I have to continue billing and all that happy stuff. :) Ella desperately wants me to work for the school so I could have summers off to spend at home, but, it's not happening.

Rebecca - I went and grabbed a Mountain Doozy a few minutes ago from the coffee shop down the street. SO GOOD. Mountain Dew, 1/2 and 1/2, raspberry syrup, and whipped cream on top. Oh my gosh.
 
I went to Weight Watchers this morning and then I went to the laundromat because our washing machine is waiting for a part. At least the laundromat is a super nice one with an attendant at all times.
 
I'm working and doing laundry at the same time. Had to deal with contractor earlier today cutting a hole in my kitchen ceiling to try to find a leak from the bathroom above. Mainly just working though. Hopefully I'll get some scrapping done this evening on my laptop while watching TV with hubby.
 
I'm free!!! I took the morning off work because the boys had their awards ceremonies at school and then chapel for the their last day. Then I took them (along with a bunch of other families) to Pizza Hut for lunch. Now I'm am free from all the homework, projects and paperwork for the summer. We can enjoy free evenings and weekends together and I can't wait! :) I'm good friends with a couple of the teachers from their school, so we are thinking of a celebratory beer fire tonight. :)

Dude. It is an amazing combo!!! I could drink one daily but I'm rationing to one a month. :lol

When I was growing up the fast food joint had strawberry syrup next to the fountain pop machine, the thing to do was a strawberry Mello Yello. Oh my gosh. SO amazing!!
 
We had awards at the elementary school today. The kiddo got a special award from the Music teacher, she was so excited! We dropped off teacher gifts while we were there. Then I hit IHOP for some breakfast food and came home and took a nap. I was up for about 24 hours at that point. Hmm, now laundry and looking through the stuff my daughter brought home from school. Lots and lots of laundry and some scrapping later. My Dad was feeling Subway-ish for dinner so at least I don't have to cook!
 
i have the next week off work now and im going to enjoy it today ive not done a lot been to visit my parents now just waiting for Gabbi to go to school and im going to scrap this afternoon
