I guess I'll share my newest favorite party game with you girls!
Werewolf.
Hence, the invite I recently made.
It is super fun and extremely addicting!!!
Basically gameplay goes a bit like this:
Pass out cards (or folded pieces of paper) containing Villager or Werewolf. Depending on how many players you have will depend on how many of each character you have, and if you have tons, you can add special players, more on that later.
The Moderator tells everyone to close their eyes. "it's nighttime, werewolves, open your eyes. choose who you wish to kill." The werewolves open their eyes and silently point to one player. Once the moderator understands, they continue. "Thank you werewolves, please close your eyes. It's morning time, you all may open your eyes. (Name), you are now dead and may no longer influence the village. Who do you think a werewolf is?"
Now the fun part starts. You try to figure out who the werewolves are based on how well you know the other players, body language, anything. Once a consensus is reached, someone is killed and the game moves on to the nest night. The game continues until either the werewolves overtake the villagers or the villagers kill all the werewolves.
Once you get that part of the game, you can add in extra characters. Some of ours include.
Doctor: Can save one person during the night, including themselves. The Moderator asks after the werewolves have killed a player who the Doctor wishes to save. So a night can pass with no one dying, but the village still votes the next day.
Little Girl: Can peak when the werewolves are choosing who to kill, but if caught by a werewolf, died instantly.
Seer: Another night player, can point to a player in the night to guess is they are a werewolf, and the Moderator can give a thumbs up or thumbs down. Or for a house rule, they can say the answer aloud.
Teenage Werewolf: Replaces one of the Werewolves. Must say "Werewolf" during each day.
Dentist: A night role, can choose a player to not be allowed to speak during the next day.
Hunter: As soon as they are killed, either by a werewolf or lynched by the village, they may point to someone else to kill as well.
Tanner: Plays on a team of their own, tries to die. House rules determine if the game continues after they die or not.
There are a bunch of websites that have a bunch of rules and variations. My friends and I have broken down and purchased the game, available through Amazon.
Let me know if you have played! What characters are your favorite?

Sounds like fun, but you need a larger group of friends than I have, so I doubt I'll have a chance to try it out. You made me real curious to try, though!
