What's the weirdest/strangest/craziest place you've scrapped or crafted?

Today I am creating on the patio table in the middle of two forts. Forts made of chairs, with pinecone bombs for the zombies and the requisite 'No girls (boys) allowed signs'. The Nerf bullets are going by me, and I'm amused.

How about you?

LOL, that's sounds like a fun time for everyone! :)
The weirdest place I've scrapped was the Houston Airport. I was waiting for a flight so I worked on a LO. I was flying alone so scrapping felt luxurious, even if it did happen in a busy airport terminal!

at a paint ball site a few years back (when son & friend were too young to be left alone) ... they were there for the day ... so i found a quiet picnic table under a shady tree and scrapped on my laptop until the battery died.

At the public library while the kids were at school, we were having a heat wave and our A/C was broken. It isn't weird, per se, but it was different than what I'm used to.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's weird, but I've done it in a Barnes & Noble, the library, Panera, Natatorium (during swim practice), the car (not while driving). LOL. that's what I tell my friends all the time who still traditional scrap - you can take it with you ANYWHERE!!!

When I was scrapping very first year, it was on an online program. The end of that year we went to Brazil, and I borrowed the computer of my friend's B&B, I would sit in the reception and help with the tourists and scrap at the same time....
Jlynn @tinkerbell1112 that is so very true!!!!!!!!
it would have been so handy if I was a scrapper when Sarita was in primary, the endless hours I spent driving her from school to after school classes and had to wait outside or in the waiting halls.... when she was doing ice skating, sometimes I would be in my car, it would have been great to be able to scrap then!!!!

I don't like using my laptop in the car but maybe I should try it on my kindle or phone cuz it would be nice to have something to do while waiting for the kiddos!

I often scrap (Project Life app on my iPad) in my car while waiting for the kids. I have a wi-fi hotspot, purchased specifically for this, so I can access all my photos and even buy new kits if the mood hits. It's not my favorite way to scrap, but it works great when I'm not at home, so I've decided to go along with it for now. It's the *only* scrapbooking I'm doing at the moment. :(

This isn't really weird, but earlier this year we were stranded in a hotel because our car was having "issues". I didn't want to just sit in the room -- so I sat in the lobby and scrapped for a few hours that evening. I've also scrapped in an airport. I'm so glad that I moved from regular scrapbooking to digital and then from a desktop to a laptop! I really can scrap anywhere!

I had a similar experience @kimingvtx ! We got our winter tires off early this year, and a week later headed out on a 6 hour road trip to my parent's place for Easter. We hit an ice storm and ended up spending the night at the Hampton Inn of Greater Napanee. It was actually kind of a blast. Because of the storm the hotel was almost empty, and they encouraged us to consume as much of the free hot chocolate/coffee/juice as we wanted. There was also free soup and chili at 5 pm (with cookies for desert!) We picked up some swim suits at the Walmart next door to the hotel and had the pool to ourselves for 2 whole hours. Then, while the kids went to sleep I went to the lobby and scrapbooked while watching the news. This is the page I made:

I can't think of anyplace too weird. But finding myself scrapping away the day at my unplugged weekend (no wi-fi, phone service, etc) at my favorite State Park. Luckily I had a cabin -- a tent would be unusual.

The only out of the ordinary places I can think of are in the car while my son was at soccer practice, and once on an airplane during a long flight.

Not really weird.... but when we needed to stay in our caravan at a Caravan park waiting to be able to move into the house where we now live ( our other house sold sooner than we could move into the next one). I was on my laptop scrapping in the annex when a couple of wild ducks waddled up to see what I was doing.

In the car while waiting on kids, at Girl Scout meetings (waiting again), and in the car traveling while hubby drives. I don't consider any of those too weird. Have laptop - will travel...and scrap.

On the plane, back before I had iPads and fancy technology to keep me busy. Got lots of weird looks from people...lol
