I still don't know what I was exactly dreaming, but I remember that I was walking in a gallery, and there were all my scrapbook pages, amongst others from different scrappers, but like paintings, it was a kind of museum or something like that, and the exposition's name was: urban art, totally weird.
1. Do you remember your dreams when you wake up?
2. What's the weirdest, strangest or craziest dream you've ever had?

Yes, I remember dreams, or at least pieces of them, especially if a pet wakes me up suddenly from one.

Perhaps the weirdest variation that repeats from time to time is about houses. They have big houses, with rooms unexplored, unused, and even still under construction. So many rooms. Sometimes the rooms are distorted with severely warped floors or abandoned with stuff thrown about. Or it is a house with two kitchens, one completely unused because I did not know it existed until I found it.

A friend suggested it was the areas of my life unexplored, or areas of my brain/thoughts that were unexplored. Perhaps, but there is also a sense of loss about not using this space/rooms that were available.

This! so many times. Also with elevators that move both up and down, and vertically, even with twists and turns. Sometimes, we can't go into rooms cuz they're haunted. And always always, I have to pack stuff, and the more I pack, the more stuff turn up in a room I had forgotten about, and I will soon miss a deadline of some kind.

Every morning. And I'm often in the same mood as in the dream for a couple of hours.

2. What's the weirdest, strangest or craziest dream you've ever had?
I dream so much weird stuff, if I told you I'd probably be kicked out of The Lilypad. LOL I have and ADHD brain and I eat a couple of meds that makes you dream a lot. My brain is like a Hollywood movien theatre. I can dream proper rom coms, and other kind of movie scenarios.

See above in my answer to Bev. Often I'm in houses looking for something or can't find my way out.

Also, I often stress cuz I'm missing a bus/train/flight.

One of my favorite dreams that I've dreamed many times: I'm at an Art Museum where I used to clean in the 80s. Below the stairs there is a small toilet, that's almost never are used. [This is true in real life.] In my dreams, if you enter this toilet, lock the door, and do a couple of things in the right order - the toilet turns into a time machine. I love this - I travel in time, meeting knights, cave men, aristocrats, you name it. It's been a while since I had this dream, I hope it will come up soon again.

I've always loved sleeping - my dreams are amazing!

I only remember dreams that have meaning. Some are prophetic, and often have warnings-either for others or myself. They are promptings for prayer/intercession. I prefer not to share those.
As to the weirdest?? Hmmm. There is one that is an exception to the above, and I remember it because it struck me so vividly. I was walking through a city- not strolling, but with some sort of purpose. It was nearing sunset, and shadows were everywhere. I was being careful for some reason? I also had a mission to deliver information to someone. I had to find a location and was to make contact with a person. This person let me into the building through the back door. We both were circumspect as we passed through the garden to where the person was... The building was a chapel. I spoke to the person I was sent to, and gave the message.
NOW for the weird part!!!!! When hubster and I visited St. Augustine last year, and strolled through the alleyways of the Old City. I gasped as we approached the Greek Orthodox Shrine. I had never heard of it. I felt drawn to it, even though I do not claim to be of that stream of faith. As I entered the small door- which led into the garden:

St_Photios_court_yard.jpg

There was the door in the dream!!( to the left of the "entrance" sign as you follow the path. ) It was exactly as the one that I passed through to find the "person" to give the message to! I had goosebumps as we toured the shrine- I "knew" the layout of the building! I prayed for understanding but still today, I only know it was the exact place- St. Augustine was the city and the alleyways and small market streets were the ones I traveled to the chapel to deliver the message!

Girl... don't get me started . I am the star of werid dreams. My husband kids I shouldn't do drugs before bed because I have some werid ones

I had a dream once I was a smurf being chased by a giant cat and I had to hide in my mushroom house . But than I learned I was also a magical wizard and could brew magic. So I made some magic juice that allowed me to bounce around like a Gummi bear and get away from the evil car

Also had a dream I was driving a car and all my friends and family were frogs like in a video game and I got points for hitting them and smashing them. Alex was a slow frog and easy target I hit and smashed 100 of her. BIANCA was a slutty frog that would hump other frogs and I would get double points. My friend Scott was a giant fat frog that was always estting ... and Eric was a sneaky fast frog .. it was a messed up dream
.
Also have had dreams I was cabbage patch dolls...at water parks..

Once I was a giant dog chasing an ice cream truck ...

Just to name a few

I would LOVE to have your brain! :giggle

Just out of curiosity: can you hear in your dreams? Askungen cuz I sometimes dream I don't have glasses in my dreams, and I have perfect vision. In real life, I wouldn't stand a chance without my glasses, all I see is blurry colors.

Yes I think I can hear My dreams as odd as it seems.. but I'm not truly sure. I think there is sound in my dreams ... I know for sure I can hear people talking

Rarely do I remember dreams, especially now that I am back working at a full time job and using an alarm to awaken. I've noticed the best chance I have of remembering a dream is when I've been getting plenty of sleep and I wake up on my own.

My dreams are mostly mundane. My husband has crazy movie set-like dreams though.

I think my most interesting recurring dream is of restrooms. They're never ordinary. My dreaming brain creates elaborate ones with dozens of toilets and other weirdness. Inevitably, when I reach consciousness, I realize I have to pee. :lol2

@BevG interesting dreams, I too believe there is a meaning of your houses dreams, once I read that a house in dreams is usually the representation of ourselves, a reflection of who we are, of what we want to have, but at the same time it's a representation of our fears. In addition, each room that makes up the house is a reference to a personal aspect that characterizes us, or that we need to explore, so it makes sense what your friend told you.

@tanteva wow, the dream, about the time traveler machine sounds so unique, I would love to have those kind of dreams will be so interesting and fun.

@dotcomkari girl, those dreams sounds super fun! I love video games, and ice cream too, that dreams are really awesome, maybe you'd try to write down in a notebook and later use for design something.

@michelepixels sounds like your brain is very creative.

Wow! I think you are a very sensitive woman, and having spiritual gifts. Did you passed through that door in real too? I mean, is really amazing that the sign says "entrance", forget about the arrow, but read just the word. I know little bit about ortodoxian chapels, and I guess is a praying room. Really this was a vision, and not a dream. Praying together with you that God reveals you the meaning, because I do believe this has a meaning. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Grace, yes, when we were in St. Aug. last January we did go into the shrine, and through the door (past the entrance path- not visible in the photo). I lit candles there- first time ever in my life as Evangelicals don't often have that as part of practice. Thanks for the prayers and the thought- now I am pondering again!

@dotcomkari those are hilarious!!!! They would make great cartoons!

What a funny dream Grace!
1. Do you remember your dreams when you wake up?
Not usually but this will I have because they’ve been very vivid!
2. What's the weirdest, strangest or craziest dream you've ever had?
When I was little I would have a recurring dream that I could fly in a teacup haha

I don't always remember my dreams, but the sort of dreams that I often have in the past few months is where I am in a large group of people, in a building with many rooms, like a school, a university, a company... Often in those dreams I am new and adjusting and learning new things... Pets also appear in those dreams every now and then. Very weird.

The strangest dream I've ever had... Hmm... I need to think... now this may sound like something sad, but this happened long ago. I was about 16? years and my mom and dad were not really good together anymore and I knew there was something going on, but I didn't know what. In that dream my dad told me that he was in love with another woman. The next morning I asked him about it and he confirmed that... I've always remembered that dream. It isn't really a weird dream, but I dreamt about something coming true...!

Yes it was a fun dream, but from now I'm gonna pay more attention to my scrapped pages, just in case that one day would be public, lol, just kidding.
Flying in a teacup?, that's really a fun dream!

I too dream with my kitties, but in my dreams, they are able to speak, lol. The weirdest dream that I had with my kitties, was that I "spoke" like cat, I remember that two meows meant "I like it", lol.
That it was an incredible strange dream, because you dreamed about something that it was going on at that moment, and it came true, really amazing.

I often remember my dreams, but I've had SOOOO many off-the-wall bonkers dreams, that they all compete for weirdest dream!

Some dreams I remember. Some I don't. And sometimes I only remember parts of it.

I had a dream a week ago that I had to make up all the rest of the MOC challenges because no one else could. Many different reasons, but needless to say, I was so stressed out! I was trying to write up challenges, comment on challenges, and answer questions at the same time! No more late night Chick-Fil-A for this girl!

I've had some really spiritual dreams. One time, I distinctly remember struggling with a backpack of rocks. I was trying to carry the whole thing up a mountain to a beautiful view, and it kept tipping me over, or I dropped some, or I was too tired to go on. All three of the above happened during the dream. Then, the Saviour came to me and told me to let him carry it. I wouldn't let him carry the whole thing, I was too embarrassed. But, when I only gave him a bit, my bag wasn't any lighter, and I couldn't move forward. I had to hand over the whole thing. I was so embarrassed in the dream that I couldn't carry my bag. There was more after that. I woke up with such a feeling of peace. I knew I had to turn my burdens over that I'd been struggling with. That dream pops in my head sometimes when I'm really struggling with life. My mom has them too. Usually, she dreams about people being pregnant, and then finds out they are. Her neighbor K - she told K that K was pregnant. K laughed it off. Then, turned out - she was, she just didn't know it yet! K was not impressed because she wasn't planning on another kid. Which, has happened before to my mom. So, she doesn't always tell the person, unless she's close with them like K. She learned when she told someone they were pregnant with twins (they were - unexpectedly). She also has warning dreams, and that's saved her and others lives.

Oh, and then there was the time I dreamed my husband was cheating on me. I woke up and was so pissed off at him I smacked his chest and told him he better quit it now! And we needed to talk. Poor man. That dream sucked, and was also so funny to reflect back on. Because he had no idea what he had done, but I was so mad at him all day because the dream was so real!

I dream a lot based on books I'm reading too, so I should be careful about late night reading, but I'm not. So, I've been a detective, a serial killer victim, a murderer, a chef, and my favorite: small town 'cozy mystery' solver! You know, the woman in town determined to solve the crime that apparently the real police can't? Oh, and I was a daytime tv judge once (think Judge Judy). That was fun.

Yep. I dream.
