I love it hot! I do I DO! but I am a desert dweller...and this strange phenomenon is happening every late afternoon here.
It is a thunderstorm, rolling rain showers!
This makes for strangeness here, humidity and desert don't go well!
:giggle
I go into slow slow mode, and don't wanna do anything!:imok
:hissy Plus, because of the silly storms, they are cutting into my prime scrapping time!
What's a scrapper to do? lol
I was forced yesterday to fold laundry and mop my floors?
today, I have cake balls waiting to be dipped in chocolate, and did up some coleslaw and baked beans for tomorrows Sunday dinner for a few families coming over for Father's Day!
This must stop!
I must scrap...darn, rolling thunder coming in!:groan

Its a good thing you don't live here then Anne .. we get a lot of rain especially in Summer when the days have been hot and humid. The afternoon storms bring some blessed relief sometimes :)

I hope you get some scrapping time later :)

lol, you're so funny!! Here, I'm not getting anything done unless it's raining because the girls want to be at the pool!

I used to dislike rain with a passion...which is a wonder I ended up living in England...
these days doesn;t make much difference as I'm bed bound 99% of the time...
but scrap, yes, you need to scrap!!!!!!

LOL, Anne. When we were in S. California visiting my in-laws desert town last year it rained a teeny bit. Well, it was really no more than a sprinkle, but the whole town went crazy. My niece was talking about how she was driving in the "pouring down rain", hehe. It was hilarious, not even what I would bother w/ an umbrella for. It'a all about perspective. That's how we are when it snows here (flurries = blizzard :) )

Love the rain, we had too many years of drought not too! But humidity - blah, just makes me collapse in a soggy heap... we have nice dry heat and quick storms here.

why is it cutting in your scrapping? Do you turn your puter off? We are so used to them.

I have to turn the puter off, yes...the storms are so vicious, that they blow out power..so I walk by my desk and long for computer time. We just had a huge one after my walk this am, at 5:30am, my hubs and i barely made it home before the monsoon unleashed. It should be clear until about 4pm...then one more! lol
I am planning a scrap marathon today!

it hasn't stopped raining here in, um a month
oh I remember that last day it didn't rain, because it hailed
sigh
and the electric goes off and on all the time
argh
am hoping you at least got to see a rainbow :)

We have had rain almost everyday here in Jersey, too! It's getting kind of soggy!

oh robin, I hate rain after a super hot day, because it never rains enough to cool down just to make it soggy.
